Just What the Doctor Ordered
The guitar rack is exactly what I expected though I do not use it for seven electric guitars. It is a super fit for my acoustics; two guitars, a banjo and a mandolin...with room to spare. Despite one or two other reviews to the contrary, it's easily transportable. If one is going to carry that many instruments, it voids the "too large to fit in my vehicle," comments I read before purchase (it's not too large, by the way). It has become an essential for multi-instrument gigs. I had no assembly issues; a point that concerned me from a few other feedbacks. Even with a couple bracket welds that were not quite straight, by inserting all bolts loosely and then doing a final tightening everything came together very smoothly. Very happy with the rack and, finally a solution for racks that were too tight for my acoustic equipment.

RockStand Folding Multiple Guitar Stand
More rugged and more clever design than competitive brands. Very stable and guitars not likely to fall over as with other brands. I recommend it.

Overpriced and flimsy, stamped and bent sheetmetal.
It went together fairly easily, maybe 20 minutes to assemble. For $70 you'd think this stand would be somewhat robust. Not at all. It might as well be made from tin foil. I don't feel comfortable leaving my Les Paul on it because of the nitrocellulose finish. There's a sticker on it that warns about the potential dangers of leaving a guitar with a cellulose finish on the stand and the subsequent chemical reactions that could take place and discolor the guitar.I wish I knew that before I ordered the stand. This stand is only suitable for flattop electric guitars. a wide profile archtop will not have enough room anywhere but the far ends. forget about trying to fit an acoustic in one space on the stand... my fender jazz v bass weighs more than this stand, which doesn't make me all that comfortable leaving it on there.if you absolutely need a stand right this second, buy this i guess... but you're going to regret it forever.for 70 bucks i could have picked up way nicer materials at home depot and slapped together a clunky but significantly stronger stand.this cost $2 to make in china and ship to a west coast port. it's the flimsiest most pathetic thing i've ever seen.do yourself a favor and build one yourself out of quality materials or ask your middle school nephew to build you one in wood shop.

Serves a purpose
I needed a replacement stand to hold my new toys and this seemed like a good option. In hindsight, I could have just purchased a second three-guitar stand and saved money - d'oh! Anyhoo, the quality of the stand (buy Warwick, not knock-off brands) is adequate, not great. It took about twenty minutes to assemble. Fortunately, it's a pretty intuitive design which is a good thing since instructions are written in two-point type. Geez. As advertised, the stand will hold seven electric guitars with ease, but not seven acoustics. I have one acoustic and it's a tight squeeze to keep it from bumping into its neighbor. Also, this stand doesn't work for ML-type bodies, it's really for Strats, Teles, Les Pauls, etc. Not great, not bad ... a little pricey for what you get, but it works.

Great product..
If you have 7 or more guitars/basses this is for you. Put's together pretty easily. Foam padded to protect your instruments. I wouldn't use this for Nitro finishes since the foam may react with the finish. If you have old/vintage instruments get a stand that has felt or padded cloth to protect the finish. SHipping was OK but the box had parts slopping around in it. Luckily I didn't lose anything in shipping. Still - for the price (about a third of other places) even if you had to go to the hardware store and buy a couple of nuts or bolts if any get lost in shipping = it's still a DEAL!

Gets the job done
Works great for standard body guitars. I have an Dean ZX (ExplorerStyle) That Did Not Work Very Well On The Stand. Had To Raise The Rear Body Rest Bar An Inch In order For The Stand To Properly Work With That Particular Body Style

Wrong Product
EDM sent me the generic 7-guitar stand that can be found anywhere else, not an actual RockStand stand. Buyer beware.

Me gusta.

Leider kein sehr stabiles Teil

stand up
Its a great rack for the money and has certainly freed up some floor space in my studio. Like other comments though, you will not fit 7 acoustic guitars on it (probably 4) but I have managed a bass guitar, electric guitar, thin bodied electro classical guitar, thin bodied electro acoustic guitar and a full depth acoustic guitar. I could probably squeeze another electric or bass in there if needed. Easy to assemble but poor welding meant one nut/bolt would not line up to a flange-its still solid though without these. All in all its a lot cheaper and tidier than buying several racks for your guitars.
