Will this be suitable to repir the cable? Thanks :)** A: I think it would be ok but check the diameter of your wire to ensure no water would get in. However it is definitely not suitable if you were to pull the cable or put any strain on it, as it could easily pull apart exposing live wires. It is not designed for this. You might make it safer by putting it in loop, but, best get it rewired. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Essential to have one of these in your electrics bits box *by D***S on 6 May 2025* I used this to cut and reconnect an extension lead so that I could get power to the opposite side of my bedroom.This involved passing the cable through the length of a built in wardrobe and down the external wall.Normally I would have removed the plug and fed the cable along the length of the wardrobe but this allowed me to simply drill a hole in either side of the wardrobe and feed the cable through from both ends.It was simply a quick fit to connect the two halves using the Wago connector to reconnect the 2 halves inside the wardrobe and power restored with minimum fuss.You get 2 connectors in the pack so there's a spare for when you accidentally cut through a cable too so it is good value for money and the Wago design inside the screwed connector means it's simple to use.The screw seems secure and holding so I am very happy and would recommend having one of these for any emergency electrical reconnections whether by design like mine or following an accidental cable break. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great product *by A***R on 18 July 2025* Wish I had discovered these earlier.
