Flat iron b4 or after applying? Will this do full coverage for a lot of long curly thick hair

I probably would flat iron before. I used it on my Jet black, course & curly hair and it have me white hair. Used it on my 2 yr old for a Halloween costume; so I didn’t spray very close to her head/face & I still good good enough coverage.

Will this show up white on dark brown hair?

I am not sure , I use mind just to highlight my hair piece to match my hair .. I no it works good for that .
