Tater Mitts quick Peeling Potato Gloves with Bonus Slicer

So far so good! And by that I mean these gloves are wrapped and stacked under the tree awaiting some elderly people to unwrap them and peel some taters!

These things do not work as advertised. It takes way too much strength and constant pressure on the potatoes to get any type of result.The blue things glued to the gloves come off all over the place and make a mess. The gloves are impossible to clean without removing even more of the blue things (which are what supposedly make them work in the first place).I went back to a good course brush. These gloves are a farce!

It did not work when I tried it on a regular potato. I saw in another review that the potato had to be boiled for 6 minutes first. I wanted it for simplicity, not a several step process.

It works...saved me from using a potato peeler and no more cutting my fingers. Oh and much more fast than using the old peeler.

I've had mine for several years now and they are a good idea with some promise. For me I guess I'm "old school", I didn't really like them and only used them maybe twice.

I was so excited when I got my tater mitts, I really hate peeling potatoes and was looking forward to peeling a potato in less than 8 seconds. Don't believe it. This is the worst gadget thing I have ever gotten. This is even worse than the "Epilady" (if you bought one you know what I am talking about!) The box is misleading, It doesn't say a thing about having to boil the potatoes for 5-6 minutes before you use the gloves. Even after boiling the potatoes the things don't work well.DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.

These are a replacement for my worn out tater mitts from a few years ago. I use tater mitts routinely.I was very pleased with the speed of the sellers shipping and cost. I would recommend use of this seller.
