Temp settings are fairly accurate on the dial. It works well for drying PLA, PETG and ABS(the only filament types I have at this time). The grid cuts off the stacking rings easily and I can fit 2-1kg spools inside of it

I have made many snacks in here! My favorite to date are dehydrated mushroom chips and mushroom jerky. Some reviews before I bought this product said it’s hard to clean but I have had nothing but a good experience. I spray the racks with oil before placing food on them and this prevents any sticking. If anything gets a little messier than usual like these tomatoes I just grabbed a dollar store toothbrush to help me clean hard to reach corners. It really has been very easy and rewarding to use!

This thing does not heat up at all. It states on the machine that it goes to 180 degrees F, but it only gets to 120F. I was going to use it as a filament dryer, but it is useless.

Giving this dehydrator 3 stars because it kinda works. Even though the temperature range is 95-158 it never goes past 127 on the bottom tray and a little over 100 on the top tray. It’s good for fruit and vegetables but I wouldn’t use it to do meat jerky. I got it for $35 so wasn’t expecting the world. I will buy a commercial one next time. If you want to try dehydrating then this will work but if you want something better skip this one.

This is a good starter appliance. Very easy to use and works well. It’s a little on the small size, but that was what I wanted. Approximately one large cut fruit fits per tray. I’m happy with how the fruits I used turned out since this was my first time experimenting with a dehydrator.

So far so good.Pros: cons:Timer/degree selector would be nice if went just a few degrees higher 100 deg. would do.6 racks expandable to 12 racks no one sells additional racks to expand I even called Rosewill would not sell me any more.2 fans on back of unit (do not change this please!!) air vents are on bottom which make it hard to keeps drips out of, need a drip pan that goes over air vents but not block them. Have a piece of foil in place now.Additional perk would be a light on inside you could turn on and off with out opening so would not have to keep opening door to check progress.I have made and do still make a lot of beef jerky. These are the pros and cons I have experienced so far. Works great but have only had for two months. If they good fix the problems this would be a great product.

I rely on reviews when shopping for products on Amazon. I was in the market for a food dehydrator that has stainless steel racks and a good door instead of the plastic front cover. This product did not have any reviews but, I liked the product description and made the purchase. The Rosewill has a nice fold down door like a oven. I use my kitchen cooking appliances regularly so, I needed a dehydrator that would stand up to prolonged use. I am a hunter that loves jerky, so this appliance is going to get a lot of use. I have run a batch of jerky and it turned out great. The dehydrator seems sturdy and the racks wash up nicely after a short soak. So far, so good

I love this dehydrator! It's everything that I wanted in a dehydrator and more! I compared it with others and you can't beat the features on it with the price point. Two fans, two speeds, 1000 watts, back wall fans, timer, great temperature range/selection, glass oven type door. What's not to love? It's very quiet. It is large so be prepared for that. I did find mesh screens large enough for these trays and trimmed them to fit. Then I just used grilling mats and cut them to fit for fruit leathers. It also has an auto shift function if you press the set button three times where it starts with both fans for a set time then shifts to only one fan for the remainder of the time. You won't get all this on a lower priced unit. Cleanup was a breeze. I just put one of the grilling mats on the lowest tray by itself and actually got nothing to clean on it after loading all the other trays heavily with messy fruits. This way you don't have a mess in the bottom to clean up around the vents there. But I did spray the mesh screens lightly with Pam before I started dehydrating to prevent sticking. I also highly recommend The Dehydrator Bible and The Beginner's Guide To Dehydrating Food.
