I own a yarn shop, and I'm always looking for different ways to do simple things. I purchased this rope to see how I could use it, and I'm glad I did. It makes great drawstrings for handmade bags because it's soft as well as durable and won't irritate fingers, palms or shoulders. When purchased in larger quantities, it will knit up into a beautiful, natural market bag.

I used white 1/2 “ on a nautical tree. Really nice rope! Much nicer than I expected an I’m going to order a third one for next year so it can be looped generously. Very soft to handle, no shine to it like the ones in craft stores. Very pleasantly surprised.

Used it as a wick to water our house plants while we were away for 3 weeks. Worked like a charm!

I used this rope to make a basket and was pleased that I was able to make two. Material was pliable enough to wrap around a mold and when unmolded it kept its shape. The color is exactly as pictured a soft neutral off white.

I found this exact rope and exact same length at Joanne's for half the price. The downside if this rope is it is not durable and untwists easily. You have to handle it carefully to keep it from untwisting and bird caging.

Our second floor ceilings are very tall and we needed a type of rope extension that matched our hanging bassinet for our nursery. It was a perfect color match and we liked the variety of rope size options. The hanging bassinet looks great with this rope extension.
