It's Legit you will read it like no other.
Firstly, I Thank God for giving this revelation to Brian to simplify the bible in this way, it is a beautiful layout and well made version that has alot of passion hence the title and extra care put into it mainly into the text for modern tongue, now I've read many comments on the bad reviews on here and mike winger especially after watching his onslaught crusade, just do not listen to them people who are you worshipping a book or God himself?? For me it's a no contest Jesus is in the passion translation just as much as the rest, enjoy share amongst beleivers and God bless everyone 🙏🏻

NOT a translation - mixes his own fancies in, adding freely and without shame to the original text
It seems this one-man band author has lost all interest in textual accuracy. He freely departs from the text of the original language(s) and inserts so many of his own ideas in among the text that it is at least 30% longer than the original. The result is a personal opinion, that no longer counts as Scripture; by pretending to be a Bible it is in danger of leading many away from the true Word of the true God.He claims to be "adding passion" – sadly, in reality, he is adding his "opinion", and trying to pass it off as part of Holy Scripture. This is, in my view, a most terrible thing to do. The Word of God has quite enough "passion" in it.Let me urge you to prayerfully read any faithful translation and you will find this to be true … any translation you like - but you need to know THIS book is propaganda for the author's personal views - NOT a translation of the Bible. If you doubt my word for it, just search on the internet for the view of any reliable Christian leader in any mainstream Christian organisation. They all say the same - this is NOT a translation at all. It is an OPINION - it may be an opinion that you prefer to what Scripture actually says, but is that what you & your dear ones NEED?God warns of this in 2 Timothy, "having itching ears" [2 Tim 4: "For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear"].Be careful. Be wise. Let us love, honour and obey God’s infallible Word. There are great dangers in store for those who add to it or subtract from it.
