I just received this water bottle today and was very exited abou it. Of course, I wanted to wash it before using it. When under the hot water all the lettering started peeling right off! I can understand it’s not dishwasher safe, but this was me rinsing it by hand in the sink. Sending this right back and I’ll try something else!

I bought 4 of these with different designs on them. It cost $60 they are cute but they have a terrible odor to them even after being washed and dried thoroughly and sitting with the lid off for a few days. Once I received them there was an insert inside each bottle saying to wash them before use and to store them without the lid on them. My question is what is that smell and why isn't it going away? The bottles say they are BPA free but graded a #7 plastic which is code for BPA and now I'm afraid I'll be poisoning my family by using them. The odor is coming from the inside of the clean bottles. #7 plastics have a danger of seeping toxins into whatever is in them according to the plastic by number scale. Is that what I'm smelling the toxins????? I bought these in order to buy a safe product made in the USA. I was searching everywhere for water bottles not made in China and found 50strong but now I question the safety of this product.

I hand washed my bottle as soon as I received it, and the lettering peeled off !! Very disappointed. I am 9 months pregnant and was super excited to get this bottle, and then everything Peeled off from hand washing it !? Very sad.

I love the filter that keeps ice and fruit from getting through while you're drinking. It fits perfectly in a cup holder. I'm happy that I read the other reviews that said don't put in the dishwasher. That being said, good old-fashioned dishwater works great!I get lots of compliments on my water bottle, and the markings keep me encouraged to drink water. I'd highly recommend it to anyone who wants to drink more water.UPDATE: I've only put water, and ice in my bottle, but it started giving off this horrendous odor that I can't get rid of. I washed it every day, so it wasn't mold. It smells like a chemical odor, and I've had to stop using it. I can't even open the bottle, because the smell gives me an instant headache. Of course, I've missed my return window, so that's money down the drain. Better safe than sorry though.

I like that these water bottles have fun, witty, or inspirational quotes on them. They're durable and super-sized, perfect for drinking more water each day and for keeping hydrated. Each bottle can last you about half the day (they even have these helpful timelines printed on the side to help you see how much you should be drinking and remind you to refill) Colorful and fun designs keep us happy. My sister and I switch the tops of our bottles and the colors still go well! Handy plastic holder is durable and slips off so you can clean it easily, just like the wide-mouthed bottle itself.Great Seller! Item was just as shown and described. Timely delivery. The water bottle itself is super cute! I like that the lid feels like a good secure screw on and it snaps closed securely. I was looking for something cute to help me keep up with my daily water intake and this does just that. What I worry about is longevity this is absolutely HAND WASH ONLY and even then I would wash gently. Water is the only thing going in this cup. The plastic feels OK enough quality to me but I can totally see the decal peeling as other reviews mentioned. 4 stars...maybe 4 1/2. I can't give it 5 because I am just not sold that this decal is going to stay for long. I'm going to do my best though!

This bottle is adorable. I get lots of compliments on it and it really does help me keep on track with water-- I'm drinking two of these full bottles a day, which is roughly six times as much water as I was drinking before. But there's one thing I really hate and that's the shape of the bottle. There's a little shoulder at the top of the bottle, which allows the top to screw on and not overhang the bottle. It's a great streamlined look. Meanwhile, the shoulder means I can never fully dry the bottle. If I turn it upside down in a rack, water collects on the shoulder instead of draining out. If I leave it upright, water stays at the bottom (of course). The opening isn't large enough to fit my hand in there to dry the bottle. It's very frustrating because now I'm never really sure if it's 100% clean or if I'm just constantly diluting the last few drops of old water. But that being said, it's too cute to abandon.
