I'm an old school type cook. 6'2", 280 lbs. mans man. Kitchen "gizmo" usually bring out an opinion Ill keep to myself. When it came to apples," if you cant do it with a knife, you shouldn't be in the kitchen." Then something happened and I cant figure out HOW. I got older. WTH???? Then add in a BUNCH of apples to work up. There had to be a better way to core an apple. So one night when I knew my wife was asleep, and no one would see me, I looked up a "Kitchen gizmo" apple corers. WHAT???? who knew such a thing existed. THIS should have been on the news for the world to see. I had no idea such a thing existed. The other gadgets that slices and cores apples all at the same time is nice, my wife has one, but nine times out of ten ask me to slice the apples thinner, but not everyone wants wedges. So after my typical 78 hours of searching for the "Best" one. I bought this one. Let me tell ya, you wouldn't think the coring process would be the most time consuming part of doing apples, but after getting this, it is, for sure. It literally took a couple seconds with this tool, SECONDS folks, not a minuet or two per apple. SECONDS. I processed the bunch of apples I had in about 45 minuets. I had figured four hours to do so. If you just do one at a time for a snack, get this now, You'll be back with a cored apple before the commercial is over on the T. If you freeze, or dehydrate apples like I do. This is a no brainer, Seriously, The time it saves, and the effort is takes, hardly any, is worthy every penny. Especially with a fruit that starts to brown as soon as the peel comes off. Lastly, the obversion I had with kitchen gadgets is one, they never did what the lady or gentlemen in the infomercials did, or if they did, not for long. They broke or quit working. This one has a lifetime warranty. After using it a LOT. I can honestly say, I see why now. Its tough. Not some flimsy sheet steel that's going to fold up after a dozen apples. Used properly and stored correctly, I can see this outlasting me. The cutting teeth are on the end. So don't just throw it in the gizmo drawer. Treat it like a knife. Hand wash it, hand dry it, and put it away.

For a variety of reasons, including improved digestion, I needed to get more apples into my diet. It's easier on my teeth to cut them up, but kind of a pain to cut them up with a knife. I can be rather klutzy at times, and the traditional two-handed apple corers always made me nervous. They require so much downward pressure and come down fast with a lot of force, all while I don't have a hand free to secure the apple. So I'm always concerned that when it comes down, the apple is going to roll under the pressure and I'm going to somehow end up with a finger under there, or my cutting surface is going to slip out and go crashing to the floor, or both. And then there's the whole business of getting apple fragments out of all those crevices. It's sufficiently worrisome and annoying that I soon just gave up and said I'd much rather take my chances with the paring knife (where the main concern is cutting out the core without cutting myself). So many times, I wanted an apple and knew I should eat one, but didn't feel up to the whole annoying and scary rigamarole. I ran across this baby and had to give it a try. Wow!! Super easy, feels very safe, and no annoying cleanup process. Secure the apple with one hand (I find stem down works best), put the corer on top, rotate with very light pressure to break the apple skin, and push down easy. Then rotate and pull it out, squeeze the handle to flip the core into the bin (might need a finger to help it out), rinse, and you're ready for next time. Then two quick, safe, easy slices with the paring knife and it's good to go. No safety concerns or messes because you never let go of the apple. No blade crevices to trap food and germs. After a few times, you can do the whole process in less than 5 seconds. Seriously... 2 to core the apple, 2 or 3 to rinse. I'm truly amazed and I'm eating way more apples now! I got the green one, and the color is vibrant and beautiful. It takes up a lot less space in the drawer than a traditional corer, and you're also much less likely to cut yourself while reaching for something else. Win win win. Couldn't be happier with this purchase!

This product does exactly what it says, I would recommend this product, it is sharp, material is sturdy and easy to hold in your hand, it allows for easy removal of the core without causing any issues. Try it you will like it.

Wife approved! She was very skeptical about this item when I bought it for her. I showed her some reviews on YT and she made the typical "I'm not so sure about this" face wives make when you show them a vacuum instead of a diamond necklace. Well guess what? I bought it, she used it and she came running over to show me how great it worked! She raved about how easy it was to use and how great it was to not have to slice up a whole pineapple. So gents, save the price of a tennis bracelet or a pair of diamond earings. Buy your significant other one of these and get the same exact reaction when they first use it. Your welcome.

This apple corer is a great tool. I can core an apple with this corer and then slice it will a knife in less than a minute and the apple slices look much better than before. I don't like a lot of gadgets in my kitchen. And I don't want to store things I don't use often. But this apple corer is a keeper.

I did not have the highest hopes for this corer, but was pleasantly surprised. We eat a lot of pineapple and this made the process so much quicker and simple. We waste a lot less of the actual fruit and the slices come out looking so nice. Clean up is much quicker.

My absolute favourite apple corer of all time. I hear people complain about theirs but i've never had a problem with this. The trickiest part is washing it after use, so I try to always do it immediately after use so nothing hardens on and its so easy. It's honestly the best. I didn't know apple corers could be so good, but they can. The handle on it makes it nice and stable to hold when trying to cut through the core. The fact that you can open the circular long bit that cuts makes it easy to remove the cut core right away. Great design. Lasting ages!
