Unmasking the Devil: Strategies to Defeat Eternity's Greatest Enemy

A must read for anyone wanting to know the truth on the adversary, Satan and his demons, from someone's who was for 25 years in the Religion of Santeria, being trained by his Dad and partly his dear Mother. John eventually made the blood soaked ritual of selling his soul to Satan as the 3rd high ranking santanic priest in New York City, the Bronx. His testimony to this can be found in his first book, "Out of the Devil's Cauldron"-- A Journey From Darkness to Light. (Santeria, Spiritualism Palo Mayombe) Many think, due to ignorance, Hollywood movies and the such as Satan, the deciever, liar, thieve, just to name a few of his titles that he has a pitch-fork, horns and wears a red suite! Nothing can be further than the truth. Satan comes "as an angel of light" the Bible says. He's cunning Serpant, (remember the garden of Eden?) he is carasmatic, and looks like a man. He's a seducer. In this book you will be educated on such vital things as who he really is, how he operates in the lives of Christians and non-Christians, The Devil's Religions, Spiritual Warfare (which most Christians don't even know a thing about, sadly, Shutting open doors. John is one of the few most loving, caring, compassionate, honest, bold person in the ministry. He's very humble and I think it's because of where he has come from. The only thing I DO NOT agree with is this business of "Jesus is coming soon" I believe scripture is very clear that Christ was speaking to that Generation, the generation that was about to be judged, the Temple was destroyed, Judaism was coming to an end. John the Immerser (Baptizer) said to the Scribes & Pharisees "Who told you to flee from the wrath to come/ the ax is already laid to the root of the tree" Jesus said, "This generation shall not pass till they see the Son of Man coming in the clouds with great glory" THAT GENERATION, NOT some 2,000 plus years and counting GENERATION!!. Look up Preterist. It's always been an eshcatology doctrine. John just hasn't studied that part, so he's just saying what others have said. I know, I used to think that to, although I never fully accepted it cause it didn't agree with my Bible. I just never heard of Preterism. We all grow at different rates. Knowing this truth makes the words of my Saviour just that much better, if that makes sense!- Lastly, I'd suggest you get both books. These are books that you do NOT read once & put them on your bookshelves. Leave them out, referee to them over & over again. Buy some copies for your friends. But most of all, but it for yourself!! I have never met John R. But among his peers he has a good reputation. i believe he is just letting Christians know that if you dumb enough to seek after the things of the flesh Saran will destroy you for the wages of sin is still death. Just like Adam and Eve died spiritually when they sinned, when we sin we die spiritually and fall in to satan's lap because he invented sin. Though Jesus Christ died so that those yokes of bondages were broken we still have the free will to choose to continue in sin. Though the devil him self doesn't have power WE give him power over us with our thoughts deeds and emotions. I believe that John R. Is doing the will of God simply because of Matt. 12v24-28. Satan doesn't divide his kingdom against its self so if someone is revealing the tactics and strategies of the devil then that person is not working for the devil. DUH! But everyone is to wrapped up and being blinded by their own selfish pride just like the disciples did to Saul -Paul who before killed Christians!! But God snatched him up to do the work of God!!! So all I have to say is psalms 133:1 the devil doesn't like unity among the people of God so all you people tearing down the author's merit right now ARE DOING THE WORK OF THE DEVIL HIMSELF!!!!! Read the book, draw near to God Himself to receive guidance, praise the Lord and give Him thanks and glory, AND STOP TEARING DOWN OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN CHRIST, MIND YOU HEAVENLY FATHERS BUSINESS AND STOP FOCUSING ON WHAT BRO JOHN DOES WITH HIS LIFE OR WHAT SIS MARY DID LAST WEEK CUZ THAT IS NOT WHAT GOD CALLED US TO DO!!!!! YOU DONT KNOW THE HEARTS IF MAN ONLY GOD DOES!! I would love to continue this rant on how close Jesus is to returning and how those who aren't giving two cents as to what the world is doing and are focused on their personal relationship with Jesus Christ are a lot wiser than you who look at the lifestyles of the bro and sis of the body and of the world. Amen. Satan doesn't have his own power we give him the power God gave us when we sin so there are a lot of ppl sinning in and out of the church that's why he seems powerful but if you read the book you would have known that the devil is an identity thief DUH!!!

Amazing book!

John Ramirez shares very helpful information in his books. I have read three of his books, think the 4th one comes out this month (Oct 2019). I had been experiencing some unusual situations with a neighbor. I knew something was not right with this friendship but at the time I had no idea what was going on. Come to find out she is most likely into Santeria. I had never heard of this before so as I began to do some research, John's book came up. A lot of what he shared in his books, has helped me tremendously. I had been under serious spiritual attack and I believe it was coming from my neighbor or the god(s) she serves. As I learned more about this I began to pray and take authority over my home, my son, my dog and myself. As well as our community. The prayers that John shares in his books have also been very helpful. Just to give a quick example. One day, my neighbor was upset and I think she somehow hears my conversations. The next thing I knew she or something was banging on my floors (her ceilings), the walls and my couch was moving. I suddenly had this overwhelming sense of fear come over me, and I got very dizzy. I began to pray immediately. The noise and pounding went on for awhile. At one point, my dog started choking. I began to pray over him and commanding whatever it was that was in him to come out, and sure enough he puked up green stuff. I plead the blood of Jesus over my dog and then he was fine. He was running all over the place full of energy. I have many more testimonies. Since learning how to pray, understanding what we are up against and learning how to use my authority in Jesus Christ as John explains in his books, we have had little to no problems.

Take it with a grain of salt but good. That is what I think. I liked the first book better where it was just testimony. It was just a story so you could take it or leave it, and make of it what you will. I think I read that book in maybe one or two days, but this book took me more like four or five days. It isn't as exciting. It is basically a how to manual for spiritual warfare from someone who spent most of his life fighting for the other side. I question some of his advice and tips. This was not a holy man but a man steeped in evil with a mind for the devil. His theology is not altogether sound in my opinion. That being said, I think it was his desire for love that saved him, searching for love from whoever had the most. When his father didn't have enough, when the preacher didn't have enough, when the devil didn't have enough, he found God. Okay I can buy that, but then he will follow love from whatever church opens its door to him and seems to show him love, take their theology, and sell it like it is the word of God. Not to me it isn't. I believe the modern church as a religious institution is 99.99999% corrupt if not 100%. Going to a church is like going to a den of devils. Then this whole business about speaking in angelic tongues, if there isn't an angel there, and there shouldn't be, it is just undecipherable nonsense from the pride of the spirit and the spirit of demons. Then as far as casting out of devils, my advice is don't do it unless they challenge you directly. If every problem is a demon, then you are going to be calling in demons by acting like they are there when they aren't. Like I said, take it with a grain of salt and it is good, but this isn't the holy Bible, so don't get carried away with thinking this guy has all the answers to spiritual warfare and living a Christian life. Mystery Babylon is fallen, those who don't come out of her will meet the wrath which is to come. The modern church is based on Catholic ecumenism which is based on Babylonian mystery religion. The greatest adversary of the Christian is probably lurking right in the church. He said himself it was a paster who made him run into the arms of the devil, a pastor who was laying on of probably demonic hands who passed him by and made him feel like God didn't care about him.

An annoitned word to help equipt believers in the vital spiritual weapons of spiritual warfare! It has opened my understanding in an incredible way, all believers should read this book to fulfill destiny and live a victorious life in Christ!

I started with Pastor/Reverend's first book, "Out of the Devil's Cauldron." As a person of color and strong ethnicity, I was curious as to why someone would renounce their own cultural traditions, etc. Yet, when Ramirez candidly and boldly told his story through the innocent eyes of a child to the unfortunate transformation to becoming a cold-hearted "Tata," I not only started questioning the practices of my ancestors, but have rediscovered the beauty and power that only the Salvation of Jesus Christ brings. "Unmasking the Devil," Mr. Ramirez's next book has help me strengthen my Christian Solider's armor as the dark one unsuccessfully tried, (but, with BOTH God's and Jesus's Grace, Mercy and Love they will NEVER SUCCEED!) God bless you Mr. Ramirez for writing such a practical book on the sneaky tactics that the devil tries subtlety use to infiltrate and rob us of our life's mission on this Earth until we are called to Heaven, hopefully to rest in Jesus and God's everlasting love for all eternity. May all that read either, rather both books add them to their Arsenal of reinforcements of Jesus blessings and how to avoid the common pitfalls of the doomed one. Glory be to God Most High in Heaven for such a book!😇

I heard about this book by bumping into John Rameriz on YouTube - no accident I'm sure. I tuned into his teachings because I was fascinated in his strength to come public - of course he's only doing what Jesus has asked him to do. I've been a Christian since 1992, I am British but at the time I lived in a remote village in Mexico. One day in 1992, God showed up in my room, He spoke to me and I surrendered my life to Him - I recall it my Moses experience! I had no idea about the devil, but I soon did after giving my heart to Jesus. Within 24 hours or less I was being tormented by demons to an experiential level, so much so that I was terrified to tell anyone for fear off being called crazy. I had a young child so the last thing I wanted was being locked away and my daughter being taken from me. I left Mexico and return to England, but I couldn't find help not even there. If John Rameriz had been around back then, I fully believe I wouldn't have have had the problems I'd had. I told my new church what the demons would do to me in the night, I was told to be quite lol - no hope for me then? John Rameriz didn't touch too much on his 30 day battle with the demons, this made me feel I'd gone through much worse than him - though I'm sure not! I suffered for 2 1/2 years all because I had my tarot cards read three times before becoming saved. The demons tormented me mostly at night, they'd wake me up, pin me to my bed and do horrid things to me, they also tried suffocating me and doing other thing - it was so bad that I ended up trying to sleep during the day; I even ended up in hospital for 30 days. How did I overcome it? I new I needed the gift of tongues - yep not even my church leader new it's power lol. I fasted for 3 days. Yes, I got the gift and I began using it against the demons to drive them away - I was on the attack now. I also decided I needed to know the Word of God more so I knuckled down into study - sadly and again something the church didn't show me the importance of. Praise God within 3 months I was completely delivered. I have used this strategy for sickness and practically anything else - it works. The Word will set you free, seek Him and you will find Him, seek first His righteousness and the desires of your heart will be added unto you! How anyone can't like this book is beyond me, buy it because it will help you. John Ramirez as a sister in Christ I love you, thank you for standing up. People may think you are crazy or too radical but who cares - you are speaking the truth. You have greatly encouraged me and thousands of others, I have been quiet for so long about my past, but you have given me the strength to stand firm and expose satans lies, plus tell people my testimony.

Great book on the works of the devil. I stumbled across John's testimony video on YouTube and I have always been curious about how the devil works in our day to day lives. This book has further strengthened my faith in Christ. Highly recommended. A great read.

De heer Ramirez waarschijnlijk gehoord over de religie als een van zijn vrienden noemen van een familielid, als een tante of oom deel uit te maken en dat is alles wat zij wisten of hij zag een film als De Gelovigen of Candyman 3: Dag van the Dead. Ironisch John Ramirez zou beter af zijn als hij gewoon zei dat hij een Satanist was geweest. In Satanisme, zijn er geen vaste regels. Satanist is een freestyle religie waar je kunt geloven en doen wat je wilt. Veel mensen hebben gehoord van een Satanic Bible maar Satanist het niet volgen als christen zou doen hun eigen land. Er is eigenlijk verschillende Satanic Bijbels en andere satanische groepen, maar de meeste zijn onafhankelijk, geloven wat ze willen. Extra punten die door mijn vriend in de bediening: John Ramirez geeft bijna eer aan Satan en schrijft alsof hij zijn verleden mist. Toegegeven hij is niet de enige "Christan" te maken van een Satanist verleden verhaal om zichzelf of hun bediening (voorbeeld: Mike Warnke, Lauren Stratford en Bill Schnoleben.) Te stimuleren, maar het eigenlijk zou kunnen zijn dat John Ramirez is een satanist; niet in de conventionele zin. Hij kon worden gebruikt door Satan via de manier waarop hij verheerlijkt wat hij beweerde te hebben gehad.
