Perfect desk addition
Very sturdy, was shocked at the size of the hour glass fearing it may be small, but perfect size. Very stunning, definitely catches your eye. Happy with the purchase, unique item in today's world.

Time is accurate, glass is sturdy
I didnt time it to the minute but it is generally on target to 60 minutes. I keep being distracted and don't see it finish, but this is a great timer, decor piece, and conversation item. The sand is quiet and i see little evidence of it 'sticking'. I bought 3 hourglasses and this is the one I kept because of its functionality and look.

Defects

Alright
Decent hourglass, looks ok, mine had arrived not screwed together and scuffed up so it went back but as far as construction the top and bottom are made of a pressboard the supports are metal and the hourglass is in fact glass. The time variance on the one I received was +1.5 minutes, so pretty good in that respect.
