One of my trees was dripping some stuff. My mom said it was aphids and told me to get some ladybugs. These worked great! I am assuming it took care of the problem since I have not seen anything else dripping.

I so wanted the ladybugs to work for my small bug infested garden! The first batch came 1/2 dead. Released the remaining living that night onto wet veggie plants, the next AM, all were gone. The manuf. did replace the order, again 1/2 were dead on arrival. Hosed everything down again and did nighttime release at base of plants, next AM 2 were found alive, by evening they were gone too. Waste of money, what does live flies away. Giving up on veggie gardening!

Live ladybugs... just like it sounds! Arrived expertly packaged with plenty of little ladybugs, along with instructions! Most of them hung around for a day and did leave but not really the fault of the seller, I think our aphid situation wasn't as bad as I anticipated- if there's no food they will seek it elsewhere. I was so excited that I didn't keep any in the fridge, which the instructions said I could have done to preserve some to not release them all at once. Releasing them was really quite fun though, would definitely purchase again if I felt our garden needed some more natural pest control!

I Ike that all the lady bugs arrived alive. They started to munch on the aphids, but a week later, i do not see any of them hanging around and watching over my trees. Maybe there should be a bait or something that will keep them near the tree you want to protect. I like the fact that i am not adding chemicals to control the aphids, but unfortunately after the first week, aphids came back and i have to go back to using a chemical spray. I added the “ladybug house” but they moved away anyway, this is not the fault of the vendor, you get what you pay for, but it would be nice if there were a product or “bait” that will keep them standing sentry over my trees, for a season or even a month.

The lady bugs came packed well in a sturdy box so they wouldn't get crushed. They were all alive and ready to be released. I followed the instructions that said to water the plants first, then release the lady bugs at night. I did all that. This morning they were happily munching away on all the aphids. And they looked like all true ladybugs, not the Asian beetles. Unfortunately they all flew away after about 3 days. And I had plenty of bugs in my garden to feed them.
