Buy Elite Massage Roller Stick Targets Sore, Tight Leg Muscles to Prevent Cramps and Release Tension. It's Sturdy, Lightweight, Smooth Rolling and Thankfully This Lifesaver has Comfortable Handles.Silver on desertcart.com โ FREE SHIPPING on qualified orders Review: Very durable, good quality, strong, almost perfect - I bought this stick in the original color as well as purple, green and blue for gifts so I'm leaving the same review for all of them since I inspected all of them and they are the same except the color. I'm really giving it 4.5 stars but that wasn't an option. I typically use the grid foam roller for stretching and sore muscles but using that on a leg takes too much effort to get in a good position so I can put a lot of pressure on the leg on the roller without actually using the muscle I'm working on, so I thought I'd try a stick. This one is way better than any of the others I've tried for a few reasons- it is very durable. I put way more pressure on it than you probably should with no give or stress on the stick. I've tried the sticks that have a shape to them (look like gears instead of rings) and those are just too painful because they are hard plastic gears and just seem to do more damage than good no matter how I use them so this one has a much better shape. I also love the handles on this. They are very comfortable and easy to hold and apply pressure. The only way I would make it better is to give it the same exterior coating as the grid or other rollers that have a hard center and a rubber/foam type exterior. It is that coating that makes the difference in the way it grabs, stretches and releases the fascia. Honestly, without that coating, this isn't too far off of a standard rolling pin except that this one has little grooves between the rings and texture which does help work out the fascia more than a smooth rolling pin would. I'm considering putting a hole in a tennis ball and slipping that onto this stick. I have yet to find anything that beats a tennis ball in getting rid of muscle pain but it can be difficult to get the right pressure in all the right places. I'm just not sure that the hole in the ball wouldn't compromise the structure too much so that the ball just collapses and no longer provides the right resistance. If I ever try it, I'll up date this. If you are in the market for a stick muscle roller, this is certainly the best one I've tried and a great price too. About the size- I love it. If you were trying to get straight across your back though, this would be too small. I don't think you should be doing that though because you would be putting too much pressure on the spine instead of the muscles. This really is perfect for legs and the back (as long as you work one side at a time which is a better way to do it anyway) which is what I want. If you want something that will reach all the way across the back, this would probably not work out. Review: Must-have for everyone especially anyone with plantar fasciitis - A must-have for anyone with calves and feet. Cures plantar fasciitis within a couple/few weeks if used at least once DAILY (3x is better) to roll calves and shins down to the ankle. I've suffered (no exaggeration) for years with PF...been on a cane...been in and out of PT...seen every dr from orthopedist to podiatrist to acupuncture...and let's not leave out all the nasty anti-inflammatories (Rx and OTC) and pain meds. Spent a fortune seeking relief. My awesome hubby brought one of these home and I was extremely skeptical especially when I began rolling and it hurt like the dickens but he encouraged me to stick with it. Over days then weeks the pain from rolling diminished snd then subsided and so did the debilitating pain in my feet. Tight calves isn't just "for" athletes...the condition affects anyone and everyone but an unfortunate percentage of us develop significant feet problems as a result. This requires commitment of daily use even once your pain recedes....if I miss even a couple days the pain begins to creep back in. I'll never again be a runner but thanks to this handy little tool at least I can walk every day. It's so awesome we bought them for our teenage nephews who are athletes and they love them...one of the boys is a cross country runner with ankle issues but this has eliminated the problems (again through daily use especially before and after workouts)...our other nephew is a wrestler and has one super flat foot which gives him fits especially when conditioning starts up...this tool (combined with custom inserts) stops the pain. Awesome, awesome, awesome. For Christmas, give one to everyone you know. desertcarts price is very affordable.

Good Roller at a Good Price
I originally posted a 2-Star review after using this product just 1 or 2 times. I already owned the more expensive, "The Stick Travel Stick" (17 inch size) and thought the larger rollers might be better. IMHO the larger rollers don't give the same sort of deep tissue work that I was hoping for. In hindsight, a 2-Star rating may have been a bit harsh. Anyway, after posting the 2-Star review, to my surprise (and delight) I received an email from Elite Sportz Equipment. They were sorry for my experience and stated their commitment, "...to the satisfaction of our customers." In all my years as an Amazon Prime member, I've never had this level of follow-up. I still think The Stick is a "little bit better", however, it's also 3X the price at $27.45 The Stick-Self Roller Massager 17" Travel Stick of the Elite Massage Roller Stick. The Elite Massage Roller Stick does a good job of providing muscle relief from sore and tight leg muscles. I have used both "Sticks", side-by-side on my legs and calves and can honestly give the Elite Massage Roller Stick a 4-Star rating (I Like It). Exceptional Customer Service from the people at Elite Sportz Equipment also contributed to my 4-star rating. If you're looking for a good quality massage roller, the Elite Massage Roller Stick is a great choice. Cheers!

If you have ECS Shin Splints this tool is a must!
My dog & I walk nearly 6-8 miles every morning so I get ECS Shin Splints. The fascia around the muscle feels like itโs going to explode and tightens like a rock, the pain is extreme! I read up on it and found help in doing some stretching, and started using my wifeโs foam roller which hurts like hell when I roll it, but the fascia must be released to stop the pain. My wife would help me roll it out using the foam roller, but when sheโs at work itโs difficult for me to get the right angle myself. So I bought this Elite Roller Stick, and it works great!! I can not only get the right angle, but apply the right amount of pressure in an exact spot to loosen the fascia & muscles. The handle is just long enough & comfortable enough to do whatever I need. Itโs also great for massaging the calf & thigh muscle with ease. At this point I would highly recommend the โElite Sportz Massage Roller Stickโ (I am not a compensated reviewer) UPDATE: 7-3-2017 I bought this roller about 3-weeks ago and use it twice a day to treat my ECS Shin Splints. Happy to say I am walking nearly normal again with very little to no shin pain! This massage roller has given me much better than expected results in a very short time. I simply roll it at night, then in the morning just before leaving for our walk. It can hurt if I press too hard but I find it relieves all the tissue build up quickly. Also feels great on those aching calf muscles relaxing them instantly.

This one is just right
I have been struggling with tight calves and achilles tendons for about six months. My wife put this in my Christmas stocking and I have been using it twice a day since receiving it. I cannot believe how much of a difference this roller makes, my legs feel 100% better in just a matter of days. I ran 8 miles on Sunday and rolled my legs with the Elite Sportz roller stick immediately after, my legs haven't felt so fresh and pain free after a run since I was in my 20s (2+ decades ago). Now to address this roller specifically... I had tried a couple other roller sticks at the specialty running store and they were just okay. One was thick, cushioned and clunky as I rolled it up and down my legs. I never felt like I was getting deep penetration in my muscles with it. The other was thin and very firm, it was too harsh, like rolling my muscles with a lead pipe. They were both expensive too, like $40 per stick. The Elite Sportz roller stick is perfect for me price and structure wise. It's not too soft or too hard, like Goldilocks said, "this one is just right". And at half the price of the others, it's a great deal. Thanks for this great product Elite Sportz, it has rejuvenated my running like nothing I could have imagined.

After Leg Day Relief
Over the past couple of months I've been adding squats and deadlifts into my workout routine (after a 6 month break) on top of additional leg exercises, and my hamstrings and quads are always sore the next day (and the day after). As much as I love soreness (I put in all that effort the previous day!) it really does hurt, especially when I want to sit down. I wanted to buy a foam roller, but alas, I am a poor college student and couldn't afford the big ones. I saw the Muscle Roller Stick here and it had a lot of good reviews, so I decided to give it a try. And the price was decent, compared with many other foam rollers. It's been a few weeks since I've had it, and I can say it works well. I was hesitant about how strong it would be--well, how strong my arms would be--when rolling it out, but I can't put a tremendous amount of pressure on my sore muscles anyways (it would hurt too much). So compared with the big foam rollers that you lay on the ground (which I've used before), the Roller Stick allows you to control the amount of pressure you put on yourself. The Roller definitely relaxes your muscles after a workout, or even just at the end of the day before going to sleep. Definitely recommend. The only "drawback" to this is that you can't reach your upper back and shoulders, but you could always ask someone to help you. So it really isn't such a bad thing.

GREAT customer service but not what I needed
Immediately upon opening the package, I knew I would be returning it. The product itself isn't bad but it just isn't what I want. When ordering I contemplated between this roller and "The Stick" but decided on this one because it looked more substantial/sturdy. Yes, the product is much heftier than the Stick, but it turns out that isn't a good thing for my needs. I thought the heftier rollers would give a more intense massage- wrong. First of all it squeaks. And not just occasionally or when you're using a lot of pressure. Second, because there isn't much movement between the individual rollers, its rather difficult properly roll specific muscle-it doesn't form to you at all. I'm an athlete rehabbing after many surgeries. HOWEVER!!!!!!!! Within the day of writing this review I received an email from their customer service department. The representative has given a complete refund without needing to return the product. I am absolutely delighted! As I noted, it's not a bad product. I will keep it and use it on areas that aren't as difficult to massage, like my legs. I'm very impressed with their prompt action and would love to purchase from this company in the future.

Does roller-stick stuff
My super-beefy right quadriceps muscle has the habit of being too beefy and pulling on one of the knee tendons; after a good game of tennis or frisbee, it'll hurt to walk for days. This had been a significant problem for me for a couple of years before I took a shoulder to the quadriceps during a game. While my quadriceps hurt like hell, my knee was magically cured. Until my quadriceps healed fully after a number of weeks. Enter this guy. By massaging my quadriceps (and while I'm at it, my hamstrings) EVERY DAY, I've gotten my legs to a much better place in terms of consistency and (lack of) pain. Do note that it hurt quite a bit in the beginning (first week or so) before my muscles were relaxed enough for this to feel good every time. Now, though, it's a kind of reassuring hurt, not a grind-my-teeth-the-whole-time pain. Good stuff. This particular roller stick feels pretty solid; I don't feel it flexing while I'm rolling my muscles in the morning (other rollers have some bend to them). It's also a tiny bit fatter than some other rollers, which I like; it's nice and easy to work with. Anyway, it does its job--roller-stick stuff. If you need to relax or smooth out some beefy leg muscles, then grab this roller stick and give it a try.

One of the best things I've bought full stop.
Cheap and cheerful and really helps with aches and pains following the gym. To me it works best on quads and calfs and is a lot easier to use on both that a foam roller is but has the same effect if not better. Hamstrings are a little more difficult so I still foam roll and stretch them. Occasionally pinches hair but can be done through clothes too.

Well made item, extremely quick delivery.
The MRS is very sturdy and well made. It's very aesthetically pleasing. Decent weight and you can feel it target individual muscles as you roll it. Time will tell if it helps with the tightness in my calf after running, going by the feedback I have no reason to doubt this. The packaging though was INSANELY BIG... it came in a box over a metre long, and around 6 x 6 inches wide. i'm not even exaggerating!?!? I can't complain, I placed the order on Friday evening and it came the next day... Saturday afternoon! that's the quickest delivery I've had through Amazon UK.

An extremely handy piece of kit. Does a much better job than a foam roller and far easier to use. I use it on the legs before and after a session on the bike, severe leg cramp has now been consined to history.
