These things are awesome. For The hood latch on the ford transit you have to use your actual key to open the hood and its almost scary thinking your going to break it evertime. So i eliminated the oem hood latch and with a little modification i installed these. They work sweet!

If you've got a carbon fiber hood with a flimsy latch, you need this good pins. Best looking and probably best functioning. I will say I ordered the wrong kit, I got the one designed to have only the bolts showing on top, however I assembled it to have the plastic on top as well, hard to explain I suppose. So mine have the lip on top that is designed to be taken away by the hood, but really it's basically not noticeable, and they still function just the same. Would buy again, and constantly recommend these to friends and enthusiasts. I'll also note I was glad I got such a steal on the hood so these were easily in my price range, however after installing them, I would recommend getting them even if you spent $1k+ on your hood or trunk, or whatever!

I bought the cheap Chineese copies of these AeroCatch latches first, they were only 25.00 bucks as opposed to 75. But they are Junk! I choked up and ordered these. I am happy that the Chineese copied these almost exactly, these fit the cut out and screw holes almost perfectly lined up with the copies. The difference in quality is astounding! Yeah, these are expensive, but dang sure worth it! Thanks AeroCatch!

These are just plain GR8 latches ...I have them on my Dakota and now my 1967 Plymouth Belvedere and they work so smooth and take away that dumb wire hanging across the hood !!!
