Why green? Green lasers are substantially more visible to the human eye than red lasers allowing you to view your target quicker and further away than any red laser. Our lasers are powered to the maximum legal strength! The 532 nm wavelength laser beam makes it perfect for use at night or day. The Reactor 5 can reach targets up to 100 yards away in the daylight and two miles at night. The battery life is outstanding, lasting up to two hours making it more reliable than any other laser sight. It also includes a dual color battery indicator, letting you know when it is time to replace the battery. The green laser is not only highly visible, accurate and compact, it’s also super light-weight and is designed specifically for your gun. With Viridian’s ECR technology, the Reactor 5 automatically switches on when drawn, reducing the chance of fumbling to activate the sight in a critical self-defense situation. When you draw, it’s on! This makes it ideal for home protection from dangerous intruders or in self-defense situations. Along with it’s no hassle design, it includes a custom holster for your gun, making it a low-profile addition that is easy to conceal and carry. The laser sight is built from high strength thermo molded polymer making it virtually weightless and extremely durable. The Reactor 5 green laser sight is easy to install in only a few minutes, secures tightly to the gun and is easily adjustable. Add a Viridian Reactor 5 green laser and give your gun a major upgrade today! ## Features - About this item - VIRIDIAN GREEN LASER: This compact green tactical laser utilizes a precise 510-532nm wave length for a more visible targeting dot in day or night, indoors or outdoors. It is in a partially depressed state and does not extend beyond the housing of the device. You have to use a retracted ball point pen or similar tool to turn the laser on or off. Not much use in a tactical situation, which is what they advertise the laser for. Awaiting contact from Viridian Customer Support about returning the laser. Heard back from the manufacturer who said the device is designed for use with the holster so it is "not easy to turn off" by hand. The unresponsive button was described as "not atypical." So, in conclusion, this laser is only going to work with the IWB holster and is useless if you want to carry the weapon any other way. I'm returning it for a refund. ### ⭐⭐⭐ The difficulty in changing batteries sucks as you have to take the thing apart with ... *by F***R on Reviewed in the United States on February 6, 2018* Although it is decent, the sight is relatively fragile. The difficulty in changing batteries sucks as you have to take the thing apart with the 3 screws. The adjustment screws are fine, until they strip, which mine did immediately. Luckily i was as close to zero at 30 feet as i could get before it would not adjust anymore, not sure if its the screw or the alen that stripped, ill investigate that further later. The freaking power button is on the left side, (would much prefer right) and is next to impossible to operate unless your finger digs into it dead center, forget operating the button under need conditions and hope it automatically comes on when you draw, or just use good ole iron sights. However, the good, it is bright, like really bright. A good quality laser for sure. The IWB holster it came with is surprisingly well made, and comfortable, easy to draw and re holster. Its no kydex shell hybrid or anything, but it gets the job done. The auto on feature is a nice touch, and is necessary since the button is so difficult to operate under stress conditions. Ive had 1 time where i re holstered and the laser stayed on, i have not had it not turn on when drawing. Over all its OK, if it had an easier method to replace the batteries and the adjustment allen key or screws weren't so flimsy itd be 5 stars. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great laser for Ruger LCP 9S *by B***G on Reviewed in the United States on June 10, 2017* Great laser for Ruger LCP 9S. It installs very easily and comes with the tiny hex/star wrenches you need to install it, although the instructions are not clear. No photos and first step in installing batteries assumes you already have the housing apart. That being said, the screws that hold the housing together are *tiny*. I kept them in the box it came in so I would not lose them. Once installed, it works great with the included Viridian Reactor holster. I did not give it five stars because the manufacturer claims you can put a dot at 100 yards in broad daylight. I tested it on a completely overcast day, and lost the dot after 20 yards.Pros: Fits pistol perfectly, comes with extra batteries, laser dot is very bright at close range, included holster is awesome and conceals well even though it is OWB.Cons: Manufacturer's claim that dot is visible at 100 yards in daylight is complete BS. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/193538073-viridian-reactor-5-green-laser-sight-pistol-handgun-ecr-instant](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/193538073-viridian-reactor-5-green-laser-sight-pistol-handgun-ecr-instant) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-28*
