All of our honey is raw and unfiltered. **Q: I read that most of thw honey in these batches come from the Gallberry bush. Would this be considered wild flower honey?** A: The Gallberry bush grows naturally beneath the pine trees in South Georgia. It blooms in April/May when other types of flowers are blooming, as well. Due to this factor, we do classify our honey to be wildflower honey predominantly made up of Gallberry. **Q: How many ounces is this container?** A: I had the same question when first looking into buying it. I called Pure Southern Honey to go over how honey is weighed. GREAT Family owned Farm & Owner was wonderful in going over the weight question & other ones I had **Q: The only honey i enjoy is orange blossom. the others have a bitter aftertaste. how does this compare to orange blossom?** A: Our honey is made primarily from the Gallberry bush. In comparison to orange blossom, it is milder with less of a floral taste.
