Rough Country 30" LED Light Bar Bumper Bracket for Chevy Colorado & GMC Canyon 2WD/4WD (2015-2022) - Pair

The bracket goes in properly and fits well. My one gripe is I wanted to pair it with a 30" Traveller light bar. Which does not fit correctly. It would appear the bracket is meant specifically for a rough country 30" light bar where their end caps are much larger than travellers. The bracket when installed on my 2019 Colorado measured 32" from mounting points.

So I think someone from engineering needs to put these on a Colorado. Left the way they are the light bar sticks out about a inch. I had to cut them down and bend the ends out and put new bolt holes in them to get it to sit correctly. For me I want it to look like a factory install not a Walmart install !!!

I used this with the curved RC light bar and it was perfect. The installation takes time, since the entire front-end of the truck needs to be removed to install it. However, once you get to the crash bar behind the front bumper, it's an easy bolt up. Very happy with this product. This light bar looks good and is extremely bright. I have used it on long road trips through the mountains and storms of all kinds. when some one is being a jerk on the road it lets them know you can see them and keep them away from you. great for extra work lighting. A more quality switch should come standard but my biggest complain was the light bar not being water tight. Mine already has condensation.

The bracket material is nice and thick and doesn’t bend which in this case is a negative since when installed the opening is Around 34” and if you bend it inwards to reach your 30” light the mount surface is now on an angle to the light and you can’t bend the end flush. Most 30” lights are 31” at the mounting surface so if you advertise for 30” light bar either make it that size or provide some spacers.

The mounts were really easy to install other than the fact that I had to take the entire front bumper off. Other than that amazing product. Lines up perfectly with the 30" RC 1500 Lumen Curved Black Light Bar (Single Row). And RC provides you with spacers so it doesn't matter if the mounts are a little wide or narrow.

Used these brackets to install the Rough Country 30" curved light bar in the bumper on my 2017 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2. Brackets are for the straight light bar only but can be modified to work with the curved light bar. Cut 1.5" off, reshape the nose, drill new mounting hole and bend to accommodate the curved light bar. Only 3 stars because Rough Country should be offering these brackets for the curved light bars as well.

These brackets are outstanding. They allow for a perfect install of a 30” light bar in the bumper of a Chevy Colorado ZR2. I’m sure they will work on any late model Colorado. They are very well made. You can’t go wrong with these.
