Geordie Bitter - Beer Making Kit - Makes 40 Pints!

Good tasting beer which is easy to make.Much prefer the taste of this beer than a home brew lager.

a good al round basic biter to make 40 pints, i personally added some extra hops to add to the biterness, but if you like a normal run of the mill bitter you cant go far wrong, especially for the price.you just need 1 kilo of sugar and water to add to the fermenter.

After some years of no longer brewing my own at home, I got this kit and brewed it up with just ordinary granulated sugar. I wasn't expecting a quality outcome, but at least it would produce a cheap pint. I got a nice surprise. Really good tasting bitter - very drinkable. It all got used up way too quickly. I didn't feel the need to buy any other beers when I had this. Fermented well at room temperature (early summer). Checked SG (1010). Bottled it. Carbonated nicely. Careful pouring minimised sediment. Lovely bright clear beer. Good colour. Good taste. Very enjoyable. Will order and brew again. Much better result than home brew lager kit (from a different manufacturer).

I am very pleasantly surprised. This beer is easy to make and tastes as good as commercial beers you buy at supermarket or pub, while costing a very small fraction of the price. This is so much better than the kits that were available 20 or 30 years ago. For me there is no looking back!

Make nice bitter

All good . I had been purchasing this product at the ill fated 'Wilko's' so knew the brand. A little bit more expensive than Wilko's , but delivered on my Amazon Prime, So always happy to re order

Easy to make and a good beer .

Followed the instructions to the letter. Nothing. Brew failed to ferment. Complete write off. Terrible product. Take the advice of someone who has extensive experience of home brewing: do not purchase this product unless you want to waste your money!
