She was packing her stuff to chemo in a plastic shopping bag because she is too tight to purchase something for herself. I got it instead. Tired of talking it ears that do not listen. I had low expectations and was rewarded ten fold. I should have gotten another one for myself. It is very sturdy and is not expensive compared to others like it. It holds everything. I even snuck in a pb&j sandwich in hopes she would eat if she seen I snuck it into the bag. Nope, she gave it to a buddy getting chemotherapy smh! She is a hot mess. Anyway, the bag is perfect. Holds her yarn or quilting items so they can safely be carried back and forth. No more tragedies due to items poking holes in the shopping bags causing her stuff to fall on the dirty floor. No more sneaking extras into my pockets just in case. If you have a mother or grandmother that crafts buy them one I promise you won’t regret it. I originally was going for something bigger as a type of storage for my main project but this is actually a really good size for traveling with bigger projects. I've taken this out with me a few times to my friends place for crochet hangouts. So nice to put everything I need for my project in a bag i can zip closed. The material is durable too and handles me throwing it around a little. I like the pockets outside too. I can fit my little notebook, crochet hooks, and my scissors and other sharp things haha.It fits plenty inside too. Right now I'm using cotton yarn and the brand I use have smaller skeins, so I can fit a few projects in here with no issue.Idk for regular size skeins or the thicker fluffier ones but looking at it, it could fit a good amount for your project. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Great product *by S***E on Reviewed in the United States on February 16, 2016* This is a great product. I just started crocheting again after many years and needed something to keep my projects in. The inside is very roomy and the afghan I was working on fit easily. The pockets on the side hold whichever hooks I am using for that project and also any printed instructions or accessories. I like the circular design because it does not tilt over on its side when pulling yarn through the hole on top. My only issue was that my the ball of yarn did not fit through the opening on top. I had just wound a 7 ounce skein of yarn and the ball was too big to fit through the slot. However, my afghan was still small enough to squeeze through. As I progressed, the afghan became too big to put back through the slot, so I just unzipped the lid and put it inside. Fortunately, the top has two zippers, so I am able to bring the two zippers together close to the yarn leading from the hole on top to my project inside. Eventually, the ball size will reduce so it will fit back through the slot on top, so this is not too inconvenient an issue. The bag has been especially helpful keeping the yarn safely tucked away so that my two cats are not able to access it! The carrying handle and shoulder strap are also handy when taking my projects to my knitting/crochet group meetings.
