Excellent all round
This is an excellent all round cup of coffee, well balanced for any time of the day. If you were wanting a comparison with a supermarket staple brand, I would say it's akin to regular Kenco Millicano, but this has a notably more mature, more diverse palate. Considering this is the same price, I think this is the better purchase. If you prefer a mellow instant coffee then this will do you well, although for some I think it may be just a tad too rich. But if you prefer more depth, strength and richness (as I do) then this oddly, somehow, ticks that box too. It really does come down to the balance it strikes.

Smooth taste even without milk or sugar
This tastes rich and smooth without that tongue-curling aftertaste. I've realised that any coffee described as "toasty" is usually quite bitter, like the clipper special roast (blue lid one), so this one is an upgrade.
