I always like to read reviews before purchasing a product and hope you do too. I want to say this head harness is AMAZING and wonderful, when you use it correctly. I saw to many bad reviews on here over this product because the pet parent is not using the training AID as such. You still have to pay attention to your dog and work on training. That's why it's called and AID and not a "do it for you". To many bad reviews are over people that expect this to do the job for them. No. It's a AID and a wonderful one. As you can see my 100lb plus Dobermans do just fine on them They work great and are very secure (when you do the job YOU ARE supposed to). Highly recommended!

Love this lead! It really helps my dog to pull less, it was night-mare before but now it's a smooth walk. My pup can't take it off so it's very secure.

This is the best thing for pups that pull or drag! It makes their heads turn when they pull. Once they figure it out, the walks are sooo much better! You will thank me later!

At first I wasn’t sure but on my reactive dog It works better than the gentle leader for turning her and it cant come off. That’s important.

I purchased this halter as a last resort. Mu pup seems to think it's her job to drag me around the neighborhood. With this halter she was more reluctant to pull (although she still tried). This style halter will definitely change this little girl's insistance to drag me around with a little practice she may realize I am the boss.

My pup is still getting used to wearing this lead, but it almost transforms her entire demeanor as opposed to when she is wearing a harness. We have done a few walks, very short ones, to start getting her used to having it on outside the house. My only issue is her constantly getting tangled in her leash, as she is flexible enough to bring her paw up and over where the lead connects to her leash which makes for an uncomfortable walking experience for her, and definitely requires patience for untangling her for me. The company was super nice in sending me the correct size after I ordered the wrong one by accident (the measurements are tricky!) and asked me to donate the misfit to a shelter (they were appreciative). She's pretty calm about the whole thing, but we're still learning that it's definitely not a great idea to book it after the neighborhood dogs to play while wearing this, as she has definitely done a complete flip as a result. Definitely works better for us with a standard leash as opposed to a retractable one, as the retractable one will almost always be applying pressure unless i measure out x amount and lock it (which sort of defeats the purpose of a retracting leash, no?). Overall, super happy with it, and looking forward to when she's more tolerant of it so we can start some manners on the leash!

I had bought two of these head harnesses; a medium and a large.One was for my boyfriend's Pitbull/German Shepherd mix and the other one for my Black Lab mix. The large fit our Pitbull perfectly since he has a larger snout and head, while the medium sort of fit our Lab mix; his snout would be able to slip out if he pawed at his face since he has a longer and smaller snout.I emailed them, and they sent me a smaller one to see if it would be better. I was very grateful! They really helped.However, overall, if your doggy is a chewer, this product can easily be destroyed. My Lab mix managed to bite the head harness off, but we have the smaller one, so it's alright. Just be aware that the product is not thick and can easily be broken by a dog's bite. I'm sure they would more than happily help. Overall, it really helped with my Lab's constant pulling, but it takes a lot of patience!

I like everything about this gentle lead except that it does not have a safety strap to attach it to my dog’s collar. But my dog walks so much better with this than a pinch collar.
