Possibly Best LED Poi Option Out there
These are pretty great. The weight is nice, flowcord is always great, but the design is really what makes these so good I think. I love that the cord goes directly into the poi. The lighting/modes are great and they're rechargeable, so guilt-free night spinning. The pear-shaped design makes spinning feel really natural, and if you smash yourself in the nose, it won't hurt (much). I have another pair of LED poi that were purchased on a whim at a retail store in NYC that were about $60 and they're collecting dust since I got these. I've never gotten anything from the folks at flowtoys.com that I wasn't thrilled with.Pros:Great, stretchy flowcord.Beautiful soft, bright lightRechargeable with included cables (or any micro USB!)Accelerometer so no obnoxious strobing when they're just chillin thereFlexible, durable silicone shellPerfectly streamlined design with tons of awesome videos on flowtoys.com with info on how to adjust, fix, tweak, etcYou can change out parts (metal rings, cord, handles, etc) through flowtoys.com which allows the poi to be totally modularBest option in the price point hands downCons:Obviously not intended for contact poiHard to do much in the way of tossing, though one could get a couple of px3 knobs and work it that way pretty easilyPatterns are going to be crazy fancy or programmed with words and patterns or anything. You'll have to shell out like $500 for something like that and the design won't be half as good from a poi spinning perspectiveOverall, love these. Best poi purchase.

Bright, Vibrant, and Durable
The media could not be loaded. I was interested in learning poi spinning, and bought these as my first pair. While they are not cheap, especially for someone who may not be sure whether they'd even enjoy poi spinning, I can attest that the quality of these LED poi are top notch and well worth the investment. The lights are super bright and the number of modes available on top of the customization of each mode is astounding. As a beginner, I've inadvertently caused my poi to collide with each other (and myself) many times, but they hold up really well despite my inexperience. Best of all, because the pods are made of a soft silicone, it doesn't hurt when the poi hit me!I will say, I bought these without knowing all of the ins and outs of poi spinning and I learned a few things as a result of this being my first pair. Namely, the tethers on the poi tend to chafe against your fingers and/or knuckles depending on how you grip the poi, which can lead to blistering and a lot of pain for the first week or two of spinning. As such, a beginner may want to start with sock poi as they are less expensive and will not cause chafing like the podpoi and most other tethers. With that said, my hands built up callouses after the first week or two of spinning, and since then I haven't dealt with any blistering on my hands. All in all, well worth the purchase! If you're a beginner like me, I'd still recommend getting some sock poi first (or make your own for a few bucks with knee-length socks and balloons filled with rice!) to see if you enjoy poi spinning, and then look into getting some Podpoi later on if you decide you want to continue spinning.

Great quality product.
I Started off spending a cheaper pair of poi but decided to upgrade after a year of spinning. My cheaper pair broke after a number of collisions. So I decided to get pod poi. These are great poi. They are well-balanced with most of the weight at the very end of the poi. The knob handles make them very easy to spin for long periods of time without the strain irritating your fingers. These poi have the most vibrant bright colors of any that I have used. If your brand new to poi you should probably buy something cheaper try it out see if you like it before investing this kind of money. It would be good to remember though if you do like it the cheap pair of poi that you buy will very quickly become something you want to upgrade once you see somebody spinning pod poi. If you’re interested in becoming a serious spinner and want to own the best quality poi on the market these are for you. The patterns are super customizable. There are very bright patterns and very dim patterns for when you don’t want to stand out too much. Glad I purchased these hopping to buy a set of crystal poi soon. I really enjoy my flowtoys. The battery lasts a long time and they are very durable.

These are no joke!
I love these! I came home from a music festival and I was like I wanna learn poi. I first purchased a less than $20 pair and I loved it. But they were cheap and had flaws. So I did my research and these said they were the best but also fairly budget friendly! These are amazing for the cost!!!!! I opened them and thought “WOW THESE FEEL AMAZING COMPARED TO MY $17 ONES”. They are weighted so they spin so great and make flowing so much easier!!! The battery on these last sooooo long too. You don’t have to recharge all night! And that’s another bonus, they are rechargeable instead of little button batteries! The different color modes and settings are wild!!!!

Great Poi! Very well designed and high quality product
This is really well designed to be durable with the silicone exterior and the way it fits into the plastic piece at the top. I accidentally stepped on them and thought I broke them until I realized that the silicone actually just "snaps" into the plastic ring and isn't glued, so it just took a minute to squeeze it back together and it was good as new. I was really impressed with the durability. The silicone also helps soften the blow when you inevitably hit yourself with them lol.The lights are bright and vivid. The patterns are cool. The battery life is enough for a full night at a festival, just make sure you charge them the next day.I lost my first pair and didn't have to think twice about buying a second pair. These things are great! I can't recommend them enough. Definitely worth the money. Don't buy a cheaper set, because you'll just end up wanting these eventually anyway.
