The overall quality is fine for a phenolic PCB. The holes are drilled not punched, the traces are well formed but unplated. Unplated traces means it is super easy to cut and remove the foil with a hobby knife. The foil is very thin. Do not overheat and use only a temperature controlled soldering iron or you will have problems like the one reviewer had. Some lead free solders may dissolve thin copper foils. Phenolic is cheaper than fiberglass and splinters if cut improperly so use a saw. This would be frustrating for anyone starting out so spend the money on nice fiberglass protoboards with plated through holes if this is your first protoboard. These are really useful for quick sensor or audio projects that use 0.1" center components. They make builds extra fast and easy. They are inexpensive enough that you can build projects and not worry about using up all your expensive protoboard. The latter would be excellent except for the fact that ESP32 dev board is too wide to be used with breadboards and hence also with the PCBs that mimic them. This board is designed so that it can be used with the ESP32 when it is used off-center.
