Came securely packaged in a custom container. Paired quickly with my phone and I started using it for the audio on tv shows streamed through my phone. I then paired it with my laptop because the speaker quality was much better than my laptop. I hooked it up to my projector with an aux cable because the sound quality and volume on the projector was sub par making it pointless beyond slide shows and etc.Sound quality was fantastic for music and video. I didn't have any problems with it when watching tv using it for audio for 4 hours.I took a call on it while my phone was paired with it and it worked well when I was facing it to pick up sound. I later took a voip call over my computer and didn't notice any lag or choppiness. You need to be facing it for people to hear you well while you're talking but that's pretty much on par.Small size makes it easily portable and has non skid pads on the bottom

This product has never worked properly for me. I'm gonna assume I just got a defective product, as I see the other reviews are hit or miss. The speaker quality is horrible and the speaker itself arrived cosmetically damaged. Now, it wont even hold a charge. I wanted to love this product, the feel and appearance of it seems to be very high quality. Made in China junk.

Speaker has great sound, is great quality, and slim and sleak which I like the most I put it in my back pocket or front and just skate around with friends and everyone can hear it it's awesome ! If it's ever cutting out on you while you use it it's either dying or if you use Pandora like me if ur wifi signal sucks it will also cut out but ya all around perfect

Im going to start this review by mentioning that this is my third try at a portable bluetooth speaker and I hope this is the last one. The last two I bought just stopped working after a week of use and these were highly rated speakers at this price range so was disapointed. I had all but givin up but started looking again and found this bearded blue speaker that was fairly new to the market with only a few but all good reviews and decided ok il try one more time. After a few weeks of use I feel I can review I did have a few hickups at first when I left the speaker on and left the building for a bit and it wouldnt connect when I got back. That is where the reset button comes in and since then I make sure to turn it off. And it does like to fall over being so thin. Also the manual says that its bluetooth 2.0 instead of the 4.0 that is stated on amazon and that may account for the occational audio loss when I walk around with my phone while using bluetooth. Now for the good, i bought this to replace the old stereo at work which barely works, the speakers are amazing for the size and dound like a bigger system. I listen to all kinds of music ranging from dubstep down to doo-wap and everything in between and the sound is good at all volumes. and it all sounds good. and the bass sounds good and doesnt get distorted. The speaker volume is impressive. I normally only have it on 65-70% as any louder and it drowns everything else out and can be heard through the whole building and the best part is it always sounds good. The battery life is not bad either the 900mah battery will keep going for about 5 hours on bluetooth mode which is decent but when you usethe aux in the battery life goes up to around 8 hours and it lets out a series of beeps when the battery is about to die so i can plug it in very nice. Max volume got me around 1 hour of use but that is understandable. There is a micro sd card slot but there is no info on how many gigs it can take so i have not tried it yet. Overall this is a very nice speaker which takes alittle bit of a learning curve. (you hafto plug in the aux cable after its turned on or it wont acknowledge it) but its still the best portable speaker ive found. *edit* im using 64gb micro sd formated to exfat with some flac and mp3 files and they both play just fine. not fond of how the sd card sticks out though. shouldve been flush.Edit 1-30-17. After many falls into tile floor it seems the bearded blue is finally going out. Granted it took hard falls into the corners and kept on playing this whole time. Just last week it started going nuts and disconnecting and reconnecting at random with aux and bluetooth. Full volume noise that could only be turned off by pressing the reset button. It's all I have so I still use it and it still sounds great. Considering buying another one. Just gotta be more carefully with it.

This is an excellent Bluetooth speaker. I use it when I am listening to podcasts on my Kindle or Mini I pad. The sound is superb, clear, and crisp. This is well worth the money. The sound reminds me of my Bose radio, which I rarely use anymore. I highly recommend this product. I purchased an additional speaker for my brother.

My initial review of this bluetooth speaker is written after returning another brand speaker to a retail store. I purchased this as a gift for my wife. She loves to listen to music that she has downloaded to her iPhone. I purchased the first one because it was reasonable in price, under $100 and had what I thought were the features that she wanted. Unfortunately, the sound quality was poor and the base was very "fuzzy". I was told that in order to get what she wanted I would have to spend between $150 & 200. The salesperson was wrong, this unit, while not as deep sounding and the more expensive units, works fine.The sound quality on mid and high range is very nice and the base range is acceptable. Keep in mind that she wants to listen to music while relaxing and knitting. If you want excellent sound, tremble, mid & base, then you will have to spend upwards of $150. If you want to have good to very good sound, this is the unit for you at a great price.

I like to listen to m music when I go to bed. I set a timer on my netbook to stop playing after an hour. The only problem I have with the speaker is that although the music stops the speaker stays on. I just wish it had auto shut off like my JBL speaker did.Otherwise, the sound is great and I am pleased.

Decent quality but not as good as my BOSE Color mini speaker but then again it was less than half the price- instructions though are NOT user friendly so not easy to pair- I finally figured it out by trial and error. Overall a good product for the price.
