Love the Product....Shipping Nightmare
My husband and I are expecting our first and did our research before buying this crib. It had great reviews and looked beautiful, also it helped that it was within our price range, especially with the discount. We love the product. The color is prefect and the crib is very sturdy. The instruction manual was easy to read and my husband was able to put it together in 45 minutes with me reading out the instructions. The wood is strong and durable, there were no scratches on any of the pieces. Now the shipping nightmare. The crib was shipped thru FedEX. I had my mom at home the day it was supposed to be delivered . She called me around noon (I was at work) and said that the FedEX guy is saying that there is no way he can bring it upstairs all by himself. We live on the 3rd floor. He did not have a dolly on him and insisted that he would leave it at the leasing office. I told him to take it back and come back the next day with a buddy. He said he would talk to his boss.. blah blah blah. I was so mad, FedEX is supposed to deliver the package to my doorstep. Anyway, so I call their head office and the lady I spoke to was extremely apologetic and said that she would put a note in. I told her that if the delivery guy could make another stop the same evening my husband would be home and he could help take it upstairs. The delivery guy did not came back the same day.Next day, no one came till 7 in the evening. My husband was working late so I was all by myself. The same guy is back and he says he needs my husband to help him. When I tell him to figure it out himself he states that he does pickups and has no idea how the delivery guys handle big packages. I was furious. Here I am 9 months pregnant standing outside in the cold trying to figure out how to get the crib upstairs. I tell him to call his supervisor and he makes a few calls and tells me that his buddy who is in the same area will come over and help him take it upstairs. Finally, after 30 minutes of back and forth, his buddy and him take the crib upstairs. So 5 stars to the product but 1 star for the delivery - Total 3 Stars for the experience.

Good value
We decided to get this crib after reading the other positive reviews.Pros:-Sturdy-Affordable-Easy to assemble (we didn't have the assembly difficulties that other reviewers did)-Mobile fits on the side without a problem-Front is low enough that baby can't crawl under it.-Looks as nice as many more expensive cribs we looked at.Cons:-The rail for the toddler bed is very small. I imagine we will have to purchase additional rails when we convert to keep him from falling out.-The two wide rails in the front and back make it very difficult if you want to use a traditional bumper pad. We had to rig ours a little because the ties wouldn't go around the large rails.

Seems to be great product so far!
My husband just put this crib together last night. The color is very nice - just as the picture shows. (We bought the cherry finish.) I looked at LOTS of crib reviews and finally decided on this one because the price seemed reasonable and because of the customer reviews. It was pretty easy to put together -- my husband did most of it himself within an hour or so. I only had to help once to secure the front bar. There are at least a couple different heights you can set up for the mattress. We already had a standard size mattress (Sealy brand) that fit perfectly. Although we've only had it for a day and the baby's not here yet, it seems to be a sturdy, safe crib that will serve its purpose.

Fraudulent advertising and nonexistent customer service ***update
StorkCraft is engaging in false advertising and has deeply offended me with its lack of accountability and disregard for safety concerns I have raised. To this day, I have yet to receive a response from the company via phone or email. The crib is nice-looking and was fine until I wanted to convert it to a toddler bed with the guardrail in place, like in Picture 3 of the photo series. There are three positions the mattress base can be placed at-- high, middle, and low. In Picture 3, mattress base is in the lowest position, with the stabilizer bar located right above. In comparison, Picture 4 has the mattress base in the middle position, with the stabilizer bar (no guardrail) located below where the mattress base attaches to the front post. There is a significant height difference of 4-ish inches between the two positions. My toddler is small, only 30" tall, and is unable to climb by himself into bed when the mattress base is in the middle position (the top of the mattress comes to half his height). He is ready for a toddler bed, and is easily able to get into it when the mattress base is in the lowest position. I purchased the crib with the expectation that I could convert it to the toddler bed exactly as pictured in Picture 3. The middle position is more suitable for a 4 or 5-year-old, not for a toddler under 2. It is common sense that a toddler's first bed should be as low to the ground as possible, in case of jumps, falls, or rolls off the bed.I was unable to set my crib up as in Picture 3. In the two attached photos, you can see the reason why. The holes on the stabilizer bar are cut 1cm from the edges. However, the left and right front panel posts only have a 0.5cm spacing from where the top of the mattress base (in the lowest position) connects to the post, to where the lower stabilizer bar hole is. Given the discrepant hole spacings (1cm vs. 0.5cm) on the stabilizer bar and front panel posts, it is structurally impossible to place the stabilizer bar above the mattress base.I had emailed StorkCraft about my inability to set up the crib as pictured on November 16th, and never received a response. I called and sent a follow up email on November 29th. On December 2nd, I received this as part of a brief email response: "We have been advised that our website will be updated as improvements to this crib design have been made since this picture was first taken. It has been confirmed that the stabilizer bar/safety rail cannot be located in any other position [except the middle]." What kind of company thinks 15" is a reasonable height for a toddler's first bed? It is compromising children's safety. I never would have purchased the crib if I had known that the toddler bed could not be set up in the lowest position. The following day, I responded noting my dissatisfaction and raised safety concerns, but of course received no response. I called on December 13th, and was forwarded to an unnamed voicemail of a "customer service supervisor." Needless to say, I'm still waiting.Picture 3 is apparently no longer valid, yet it remains posted on StorkCraft's website, Amazon, and every other retailer that sells this model. It is misleading to current and potential customers. I have yet to receive any apology for their deceit. I am disgusted with the company and want a refund. This has been a waste of $200+ and my time.***update 12/21- after I called again on 12/19, StorkCraft responded agreeing to a refund. I hope they take down the third picture in the photo series soon if their current model does not allow for the toddler bed w/ guardrail to be set up in the lowest mattress position.***update 12/23- For clarify, I added a third photo of the crib set-up I referred to as Picture 3, taken from the StorkCraft website, and it is the same as pictured on this site Amazon product description. It is Picture 3 of 5 for crib colors Cherry, Black, White, and Gray. Espresso has 6 pictures and a video, so it is Picture 4 of 6 for that.
