I was after a black knob with a backplate that was cost effective. The backplates are solid but the knobs are hollow! I gave this 4/5 stars for that reason. I just wish the knob felt heavier.

This door handle is definitely for looks it didn't quite fit in my standard size hole for the door locking mechanism so I had to chisel it out to make it fit. I could have also bought a drill bit to make the hole larger but I wanted to put it in right away. They're definitely lightweight but don't seem flimsy.

We totally remodeled our kitchen and these solid brass door knobs and the dead bolt look great in the kitchen with brass lighting and brass cabinet knobs. They cost a little more but were well worth the price for the 6 doors in our kitchen.

I had a lever type on a door that I kept passing and running into --leaving a bruise every time. Now with this sleek round knob, I have a beautiful addition to my bedroom door without the black and blue bruising. Love it!

i am so impressed with the quality and the color options. i would HIGHLY recommend this for anyone looking for a "custom" knob.
