Awesome Vacuum
One year review. This small vacuum kicks butt. It picks up debris of all sizes - even sand and dead algae that’s been brushed off walls. I don’t need to pull out huge hose for our 33k gallon pool and have to go through all the steps to do light maintenance cleaning. I just hop in my pool with diving mask(or just walk it) and clean away. Battery life is great, cleaning vac is easy. The only bad is that it floats. You have to struggle with it in the deep end(our pool is 10 feet deep).

Gets the job done!!
I have a 16ft x 32ft in-ground pool surrounded by cement and with a sand filter. My normal vacuum that attaches to skimmer, does not pick up sand from filter or the grit that comes off the cement. You also can not tell what is being vacuumed or just kicked up into the water with the traditional vacuum through skimmer. This Pool Blaster unit picked up A TON of my sand and fine dirt, i saw it when i cleaned the cannister and filter cone (which is very simple to do). On one charge, I was able to vacuum the whole pool twice, close to an hour of time. The pole it comes with is for shallow water, but a traditional skimmer / brush pole can easily attach for the deep end, which mine is 8ft. With a traditional vacuum, you cannot tell when you lose suction, but with this vac, you can feel the pole vibrate slightly until battery runs out. This vacuum is perfect for clean-ups and "hard to suck up" debris.

The pole adaptor seems to break on all of them
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I have bought 2 of these. The vacuum works wonderfully, and it is overall a great product. However, both of them the pole adaptor has broken and I cannot find a replacement part. So, the only option is to buy a whole new one. I do not want to buy a third one, just because of 1 broken part, when everything else works great. I am trying to figure out how to make it work for this pool season, and will be exploring other options for next year.

Must have with tree's around your pool
This is my second year using this and it has been an absolute life saver! Our pool is under a tree that dumps little ball things into our pool whenever it rains and this thing quickly sucks them all up before they can mess up our water. It easily picks up Grass clippings, bugs, even sand. The only thing it can't get are big leaves and acorns but that's understandable because the hole is only so big. I can't imagine keeping my pool clean all summer without this vacuum!

Amazing!
I bought this on July 11th, 2023, and this is our third year with it. It cleans our inflatable hot tub amazingly, and our 18x42 intex easy set pool. Have had zero problems with it! Its great for sand, algae, and those pesky backswimmers or boatmen! We got a second one as a gift that same year for Christmas but have yet to have to break it open because this thing is so amazing! Would 100% purchase again!

Handle flimsy, broke, took days to get it to come on out of the box.
Wouldn’t work right from the start. Did everything exactly according to the instructions. Gave it one more chance left it plugged in for DAYS and it finally came on. There is a BUT…..the pole provided is weak and flimsy. It broke after 4 uses. It had lots of positive reviews. The few negatives some did mention it would not start right from the beginning just as I have experienced. Was hopeful that the company had corrected this fault but apparently they have not.Would advise not to take a gamble on it and save yourself the hassle of a return and purchasie a different brand.

Pretty good, but has some flaws. Purchase with reasonable expectations
I'll start off by stating we have a robotic pool vac as our primary cleaner, so this was purchased to clean the attached spa, steps and corners the robo vac does not consistently reach. I've used this vac multiple times a week for almost three months and it has generally met my expectations. It is fairly easy to use and the battery lasts quite a while before a re-charge is needed. The suction is good and it pretty much picks up everything we need it to, even some large leaves. But there are a few small flaws. First, and most annoying, is that the canister does not always stay securely seated against the base. I find that when using the unit, if it contacts the side or step of the pool or if too much pressure is used when pushing it, the canister portion slips out from the small lip that holds it in place against the base. The problem this creates is the water in the canister, along with all the small debris, just flows right back out into the pool, negating a lot of the work just completed. It's most noticeable upon retrieval of the unit. So either you'll need to wait for the debris to settle back down and vacuum it again, or leave it for the next time. I've gotten into the habit of checking to make sure the canister and base are good before pulling it out and trying to force it back into place. But even so, some debris and water still flows out. I would say out of the ~20 times I've used it so far, I've NOT had this issue in about 5 of those. Some other reviews note a similar issue. Seems like Pool Blaster needs to re-engineer the unit with a larger lip in the base to keep the canister in place. .The second issue is the unit is too buoyant. I need to keep steady pressure on it to ensure the scrubber stays down. Couple that with the canister issue above and it is clear why that happens so often. The third issue is that some debris is easily stirred up by the shape of the vac head and forced away from it. So sometimes I need to move slowly or approach it at an odd angle. Using nets and the robo vac, I've never seen this before and I have no explanation for it. It's just annoying when some random leaf will blow away from the vac when the head is just about to go over it and suck it up. But in general it has no problem collecting most debris. From my experience, I cannot imagine using this as a primary unit to clean an entire pool unless it was quite small and circular. But as a supplementary cleaner, it works fairly well, but not perfect. If the canister seal issue were fixed it would be a solid 4 and if they addressed the buoyancy issue it would be a 5 star item.

The little vacuum that Could!
I was doubtful anything other than the “vacuum to waste” option with a pool service would get rid of this super fine sand/dirt that collects on the steps of the pool. I’d push it down in to the deep end only to have it spit back out with the filtration system unable to filter it! But, this little vacuum does it!!! Can’t believe it! A life saver for a serious pain in the a$$!
