You open the packet and put the dry powder in the Wax Blaster holder, shake it up, and simply spray the formula into the ear canal. One packet, once a week, covers both ears. I like the Wax Blaster. I had been using these packets with the blue ball. You have to squirt the ball into the ear canal. I was using that too hard and thought I might do harm to my inner ear. So I use the W.B. now. It really works great with these individual packets because it sprays the water with the EarCleanMD into the ear canal with a spray instead of a single mighty spray. It is very easy to use and more comfortable than a hard squirt that I had been doing with that blue ball. Three days after using these packets W.B. I had a piece of wax that had been rattling around come out. I don’t use a-tip type items or bobby pins in my ear. Hearing is too precious.Also, if you have a tremendous build-up of wax, you can try the EarCleanOil for softening the wax. I am glad I did not have to do that. If wax does not come out with oil, an ear doctor can get it out for you. I have a pretty great wax build-up and have had to go to the doctor before too. This is more cost effective than a doctor and easy to clean up too.
