Where is the link to the power adapter, or does this come with one?

The 5800RP wireless repeater can be powered from either an AC or DC external power source connected to the two internal terminal screws. The DC power source rating is 12VDC, 100 mA. The AC power source rating is 9VAC, 15VA. The transformer and the cabling required to connect it to the repeater are NOT included with the 5800RP. Only the backup battery is included. We recommend using the Honeywell 300-07753 AC transformer in tandem with the LT-Cable (https://www.alarmgrid.com/products/honeywell-lt-cable) to power your Honeywell wireless repeater.

What is the distance limit without this? How much distance does this add?

It is placed in the middle of my garage which has closed doors and there is parking on the outside of the garage doorsfor four cars and you can be half way in the street and it works. I never measured the true distance.

Will this work with the Honeywell l7000?

It works with the 5200 and the 7000.
