Great stuff
Crappy description:Thinner than normal winter gloves and much more flexible.Fit snugly to my hands after I sized my hands on their website. I imagine they would be very tight if your hands border medium to largeFor the rest well you can see the picture.Alright so I'm not a lumberjack or a dockworker, and i don't live in the Arctic Circle. In fact, I am somewhat of a regular Joe. I live in Pennsylvania, where winters get cold for a week and then hover around freezing for a month or two. I bought these gloves in November and through some bad luck didn't wear them until January. Since then I have gone skiing with these gloves and a cotton pair under them with moderate success. The first time it was right below freezing and in the daytime. The second time it was cold and at night. Only at night did my hands get cold, but they didn't ever get wet. In fact the only time my hands got wet when wearing these gloves is after i held them under a faucet. They look good to wear for normal occasions. They are warm enough for plus 20 Fahrenheit wind chill, in my opinion. I was pretty excited while i wore them. For some reason I got pumped feeling like I had tough construction glove. I felt like i could do anything. Flexibility is great for winter gloves, and the lining held up perfectly when I redid my rock wall. Overall i would definitely recommend these because anybody could find an appropriate time to wear them. I use them for running sometimes but my hands will always get sweaty that way. Also they would make great gardening gloves if i was inclined to try. I wish I had them for when i built a fence too because they have good grip and would protect your hands from splinters. I only suggest you try them out before you where them for the coldest day of the year.

Great general purpose gloves
I purchased a pair of these gloves a little over a year ago. I was looking for a light weight pair of insulated gloves that could keep my hands warm and dry plus allowing for some level of dexterity. I have purchased gloves in the past that have fallen apart in the first month, so I had no expectations for these gloves.Over a year later these gloves have proven to be extremely durable and waterproof. They generally keep your hands warm down to 20-25^F, your fingers may start to get cold depending on your level of activity. If you get the exterior shell of the gloves wet your hands will get colder a lot faster as the outside temp decreases. I used them through a winter and summer in Colorado, at 5,500-11,000ft. I used them to clear brush, cut wood, remove wood from ice covered streams, camping, and 4x4. I also use them to play fetch with my dog, they always keep my hands warm and free of wet/frozen tennis ball slime. Through a full year of abuse these gloves have remained waterproof enough for my needs; haven't fallen apart,or broken any stitching. The glove material seems the be strong, durable and looks like it still has years of service left. I have washed them several times and they seem to retain their water resistance. I have not used these gloves in water until they are super saturated. At that point they may start to leak. The gloves will feel damp on the inside with prolonged water use. I have found this to be the case with most waterproof products.Overall this is an excellent product.

These have so far been the best I could find
I work in a Supermarket freezer, and have a lot of trouble finding gloves that offer enough grip for when our products get icy while still providing warmth and, of course, water resistance. These have so far been the best I could find, but they're most certainly not perfect. I've bought two pairs so far with the same results. One problem I have is that the grip on the fingers starts to peel away after a few weeks of use. Sizing is also weird, as I find no matter what size I've ordered, the fingers are always a little too long (especially the ring finger). They're also not as warm as I would have hoped, as I find that my hands still get cold and numb under 25 degrees, especially when I'm handling stuff with my hands, which is almost always. In terms of water resistance, they are not waterproof (these kinds of gloves never are, don't ever believe the advertisements that say otherwise), but they ARE highly water resistant. They only get wet inside if I'm really handling something watery, like when I have to pack out ice, and even then it's very minimal. I'm more likely to get the insides sweaty than I am to actually get water in them, and even for that, they are totally machine washable. All problems aside, these have so far been the best mixture of grip, warmth, and water resistance I could find, and they're certainly better than the crappy gloves the store tried to give us. If you buy them, I suggest getting a glove liner to go with them to help keep your hands a little warmer, and like all gloves, make sure your hands are warm BEFORE you put them on, otherwise they really won't be able to do their job right.

Solid work Gloves
The first pair I received were damaged. I let amazon know, they shipped a replacement quickly and there was no trouble.I've used these for 5 weeks now for various tasks (construction related). And they've been holding up great. They weren't able to keep my hands warm in situations where the temperature was below 15° F. My hands get cold fairly easily though. They are water resistant, not water proof. They keep my hands dry for the tasks I've used them for though. The fit is pretty good, there is a slight break in period. This is due to the mid layer, it's a little stiff when you first start using them. They aren't overly dexterous. You won't be doing too precise of work with these. You can handle screws and nails, flip a knife open and handle a pencil but anything beyond that I had trouble with. This is the majority of activities I need to accomplish while wearing them so they're perfect for me.If you need some sturdy gloves that will keep your hands warm but won't take away all your dexterity, these are the gloves you want.
