Ingenuity Premium Soft Mini Bean Bag Plush, Van The Elephant, Ages Newborn and up.

The good: lil elephant is heart-meltingly adorable, as pictured. Tempted to keep it from my daughter and hoard it forever. Very soft and lovable.The bad: It's supposed to be a beanbag style toy from what I can tell, and there are probably 2 tablespoons total of bean filling in his little abdomen. Head is cushy like any other stuffy, with floppy ears. But the full weight of the toy is like one woolen sock. I'm giving it a chance as newborns don't need especially heavy toys, and I'm hoping the lightweight filling will be a comforting sensation without being a suffocation risk... but it also might just end up getting cut open and filled with rice and nylon at some point. Good thing I'm crafty.

Our son started sleeping with this little guy (we got the elephant one) when he was 3 months old. Because it’s flat, it has a lower suffocation risk (though parents should still be careful, and not rush into plush sleeping buddies until you’re comfortable).Our baby finds comfort in his friend and sleeps better because of it. He hugs it every night and even stands up holding it when he wakes up (he’s a year now). No rips or any damage, just gets dirty from time to time from a baby ready to mouth it - as babies do.

Got Van the elephant for my baby and absolutely love it. Minus 1 start because my only gripe is that it seems to be lacking beans to give the soft plush the effect of it actually being weighted. So we purchased some poly weighted stuffing beads and added about 3oz of beans inside and the made the soft plush more comforting for my baby.

Holds up well even after multiple washes. We have about four of them now as our son's lovey. It's affordable so you can have multiples to cycle through with washes yet the quality it top notch.

If you’re looking for something to comfort your lil ones when they sleep I would not recommend this toy. The stuffed head weighs more than the actually body that’s suppose to have the weight. It’s cute, but definitely does not help the situation I was needing it for.

Is so good

Was looking for something waited to put on my babies arms and chest to help with the startle reflex to help break away from swaddling. This wasn’t as heavy/weighted as I would’ve liked.

We bought this one as a back up when we couldn’t find it in store anymore. My kiddo LOVES this thing and we couldn’t get through nap or bed time without it. Super soft, holds up to my toddler chewing on it and dragging it around. Washes and dries well in the machines too!

Our daughter got so attached to this stuffy elephant, we had to buy more than one to have a replacement in case we lost one somewhere. She can only sleep if she's hugging it, so we always need to have one handy. It's light to carry (so she's able to easily carry it herself) and very soft.

It’s a great little flat stuffie but it is not weighted like it says in the description. There I are knmy beads in the bottom part and a bit of stuffing in the head. It is very light weight. It’s still cute and I’m sure kids will love it, it’s just not weighted
