Magichome Shower Head and Hose 2m, 3-Layer Filtration Ionic Shower Head

Bought this to replace the existing shower head we had due to being old and the water pressure was low. I decided to buy this and see if it worked and it didn't cost too much. Tgd shower head was easy to install and immediately noticed the water pressure was so much better when we turned the shower on. The water feels so much nicer on your skin and my hair lathered up a lot better than our old shower head . Great buy and fab price .

Seems okay. Easy to fit. Spray quality not so great but we have low water pressure in the flat anyway.

We have only been using this shower head for a short time but it has made a big difference. The water feels so nice when we have a shower.

Ok so I purchased this as was on offer. The kit I bought also had 2 meter hose bonus.Initially I thought the product would make having a shower a joy. Whilst not taken shower yet ie just bought and tested here is my thoughts.Firstly the instructions are rubbish . I swear everytime it said clockwise direction I had to do it anti clockwise. There was instructions on how to replace the beads....lets just say if the product lasts that long am not looking forward to that day! as it is more complicated and time consuming than needs to be. ie 3 seperate areas all to re-align which given that its made of plastic ,over time the process of doing so and together with the added maintenance of emptying the water out of the shower head after using shower ie if you dont use daily to ensure water is not left for period of time in the shower head. will eventually shorten the life expectancy of the thread of the plastic.There is some white plastic tape included with the product yet there is no reference to what and how and why etc its included. not manually or in the video.which by the way is useless. Theres no real explanation ref fitting hose as both ends different, but obviously if its not one way its the other.. I had read the silicone plate was for hard water areas so after cautiously removing the steel panel I went to fit the silicone, again no real reasurance that you should exclue the sealing ring.I noticed a difference with the steel and silicone panel in relation to water flow and settings. the steel seemed faster and more intense in comparison but I obviously following the advise that the silicone suppose to be better for hard water areas due to build up of potential limescale within the steel plate.I am 47 , I am disabled one of the symptoms of my chronic illness effects my hands ie in relation to strength and grip . I found it a struggle ie strength wise also the dexterity required for re-aligning etc.I would also say equally a man with large hands might find it a lot of flaffing.Overall I am glad I waited to buy this when it was on offer, I also purchased the spare beads at same time although I am more likely to just buy the complete shower head as like I said I think that will loose its thread,crack or loose water before I need to replace the beads but time will tell.I live on my own and due to my illness showering is not as frequent ie daily impossible. So obviously emptying water out of shower head is a must in my case. But for a large family they more than likely would not need to given that the shower would be used more often and as such the water in the head ie thats retained would not linger too long.Would I recommend, well given that I cant say if the beads will make any actual difference or not ie without testing PH level , I would say only buy if on offer.with ref to water pressure my old shower head was leaking so obviously it was an improvement.3 months now all seems good got used to emptying and realignment etc but its still a job thats precarious.I can't say the ph level is any different or that water fefls softer. but the water flow- pressure is worth what I spent so added extra star.

Wow, this shower head is a game changer for us, we had poor water pressure and live in a hard water area, now the pressure is perfect and the water softer, couldn’t recommend this shower head enough, amazing!

My shower pressure was beyond disgusting It would take over 2mins before my hair was even wet properly. This shower head has taken it from a minus 1 to a 8 out of 10.. massive improvement not the best shower power in the world but my god it really did make a difference so I’m happy

Reduces the pressure and hasn’t come with a hose that would fit a standard shower. So disappointing as it stops enough water getting through the body of the head and especially if you have hair longer than a pixie cut then don’t waste the money neither head plate improves anything plus having to use the hottest my shower will go because you guessed it it also chills the water because it’s specifically designed to force move air outflow giving the illusion it’s a powerful shower head. Was too unwell to fit it straight away meaning it was outside of the returns policy. Quality is shocking and I’m just going to go to B&M and get a standard generic shower head at least I know what I’m getting then. Utter waste of money.
