Nice toy Dienonychus dinosaur, if they were totally feathered like this toy is then it is probably quite accurate. It kind of reminds me of a roadrunner as I sit here looking at it, now all I need is a two legged coyote for a diorama of the roadrunner cartoons

Excellent in every way except that the legs are extremely fragile and break off and go missing very easily. More of a collector’s item than a toy.

The most realistic dromaeosaur figurine I've ever owned! I love that this isn't a dinosaur opening its mouth to roar like so many others - what I wanted was "animal", not "monster", and that's what I got. Stands very well on its own, that tail is great for balance! Just the right size in my opinion, and honestly I couldn't imagine getting anything better for even close to this price. No points of articulation, but that isn't what I was looking for, so I'm very happy.

I bought this sight-unseen as soon as it could be ordered, and I was not disappointed. As a professional vertebrate paleontologist I think this might be my favorite dinosaur toy on the market, and certainly the best Deinonychus (like the "raptors" in Jurassic Park) ever made. My version is well painted, the seam lines are about average for toys in this price range, and there are no obvious production errors anywhere in my copy. If you want the latest in scientific accuracy and a stunning figure for your favorite paleontologist-in-training, or just your own desk or bookshelf, you cannot go wrong with the Safari Deinonychus!

It has great detail with realistic coloring and proportions. My daughter is absolutely in love with the deinonychus, and she was extremely happy to have a model that looks accurate
