This gel is fragrance free, it absorbs pretty slowly into the skin. Although a lot of people use this for skin irritation, I use this for my facial tools as a conductive gel. It’s moisturizing. It’s non-greasy and it’s a wonderful value for your money. It does not irritate my skin, it actually soothes it while I’m using my electronics.

I saw a cute little TikTok prior to this ban! If you know, you know a beautiful woman named Nina pool! Where she studies ingredients and finds inexpensive options for some of the high-end makeup and skin care brands! One of the things she recommended is putting 100% aloe on your face as a makeup primer. Not only is it very healthy for your skin, but it’s a little sticky to have your make up adhere to. I am a cream makeup girly and I was using. A lot of different kinds.. that were $30 plus. For a small 2 ounce bottle or less.! I am a big fan of Korean skin care that I have this on hand that I had used if I had a sunburn. So I decided to give it a try from the sample that I had from my old subscription box.. and I was obsessed with the Dewey look it gave and how well it kept my make up! I went onto order from here and I was pleasantly surprised that I got such a large bottle! I thought the sample was decent size! So for under $10 I’ve had make up primer for three months and I’m not even halfway through! I don’t think I could ever go back to regular primer! I am also very fungal, acne prone with my mature skin! Never what I pay those high prices again! If you don’t know who Nina pool is I’m telling you find her on all the socials you’ll be happy you did!

I do think this is a good value item that generally works for sensitive skin. I will say that one time I had a very damaged skin barrier and could not even tolerate this gel (it would sting going on and I had to wipe it off). That said, i think generally this works for sensitive skin and can be helpful for burns / sunburns.

No. Absolutely not. Now, this product isn’t like really bad BUT the thing is that I didn’t really see a difference with it, especially not the way it was advertised about being better than aloe vera gel. The truth is I very much prefer aloe vera gel because there’s so many options out there that you can find ones that are fungal acne safe, etc. This cactus gel is very sticky, fragrance free, and of course it’s cooling cause it’s a gel but my skin was slick by midday so definitely no “hydration.” If you want a gel for sun care and whatnot, please get one of these three: the Aloederma Pure Aloe Vera Gel (the jar version), Fruit of the Earth Aloe Vera Gel (best to get at Publix or Walmart because they carry the best ingredients list), or Lily of the Desert 99% Aloe Vera Gelly (at Sprouts or Amazon). I have had the best experiences with these gels for my face and hair. Please don’t waste your money on this cactus gel.
