This book was purchased as a gift for my nieces and nephew. I've read "The Secret" and its companion books, and had wonderful successes with practicing the Law of Attraction. So I was elated to receive this in the mail, and wasn't let down. The illustrations are perfect for kiddos, who often have shorter attention spans; illustrative, but not too elaborate as to take away from the message. Speaking of the message: it's subtle, but effective. Kids will learn about using their imagination and visualization to achieve their desires, but they won't feel like they're being "taught a lesson." It's learning at its most effective, I'm very pleased with this purchase.

I have all "The Secret" books and we live it everyday. I really wanted to have my 7 year old have a glimpse into the power of positive thinking and visualization. I had him read this out loud to me and we talked about it after. About 2 weeks later - he lost something that was important to him - his Ipod (haha) and I told him to think about the book we read. I had him start imagining himself playing his iPod, winning his games that he plays on it. He doubted it would work but sure enough - 2 days later he found it! in the couch. I said - see the power of your imagination worked! he said he now believed it. Coincidence ? Maybe - but it really gave him a real life example of how he can use his thoughts. Thoughts become things. This book is special for anyone wanting to help give your child this special gift of using their imagination (aka visualizing).

This is a very cute book but I thought it was very simple with predictable ending/outcome. Easy to read and short so it will be a nice book for pre-k's and kindergarten kids who can read on their own.

This is a sweet and simple book suitable for children and adults of *all* ages which teaches the wise lesson that worry is a misuse of imagination. It so happened that this book was absolutely perfect for a personal situation that our family was experiencing. I actually preordered this book which is something I have never done before. But I loved the secret and Rhonda Byrne's other book. When I saw that her daughter came out with this one, I knew I wanted to get it for my grandson for Christmas. He will only be 9 month old then, but you are never too young to learn to use your imagination! I love the writing and drawings!
