SynScan GoTo telescope mount with 42,900+ object database. Sidereal, lunar, and solar tracking speeds. SynScan Pro app for iOS and Android. Adjustable-height aluminum tripod with 1.25-inch diameter legs. DC operation (batteries not included). Review: Great Mount - When my Celestron mount died I replaced it with this one. What a difference. This mount will do a goto from a simple positioning (level mount and telescope and point telescope to true North) without need for alignment. In addition, its point and track feature allows you to focus on an object which the mount will then track. GoTo and tracking are not 100% perfect but work very nicely to make observing easy. Control uses a smart phone app that connects to WiFi generated by the mount. Nice and simple. One thing to keep in mind is that the mount is designed for mounting the telescope tube on the left side. Mounting on the right side requires updating the firmware. Sky-Watcher support is great and the documentation for the mount and for the app is pretty comprehensive. ## Features - Motorized alt-az mount - 11-pound payload capacity - Built-in Wi-Fi - Spring-loaded worm gears - Optional 80mm (400mm focal length) or 102mm (500mm focal length) achromatic refractor optical tube at f/5 focal ratio ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B085YCQHJT | | Brand | Sky-Watcher | | Built-In Media | Mount, tripod, eyepiece tray | | Coating | StarBright XLT | | Compatible Devices | Camera | | Customer Reviews | 5.0 out of 5 stars 4 Reviews | | Exit Pupil Diameter | 102 Millimeters | | Field Of View | 1.7 Degrees | | Finderscope | Reflex | | Focal Length Description | 500 millimeters | | Focus Type | Auto Focus | | Manufacturer | Sky-Watcher | | Manufacturer Part Number | S21140 | | Model Name | S21140 | | Model Number | S21140 | | Mount | Altazimuth Mount | | Objective Lens Diameter | 102 Millimeters | | Power Source | Battery Powered, Solar Powered | | Telescope Mount Description | Altazimuth Mount | | Warranty Description | Two-Year Limited Warranty | | Zoom Ratio | 50 | ## Images ![Sky-Watcher AZ-GTE Mount - SynScan GoTo Telescope Mount - 42,900+ Object Database - Adjustable Height Aluminum Tripod (S21140) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51uBPHrr-JL.jpg) ![Sky-Watcher AZ-GTE Mount - SynScan GoTo Telescope Mount - 42,900+ Object Database - Adjustable Height Aluminum Tripod (S21140) - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51M4kbkRixL.jpg) ![Sky-Watcher AZ-GTE Mount - SynScan GoTo Telescope Mount - 42,900+ Object Database - Adjustable Height Aluminum Tripod (S21140) - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51ZtcW7JObL.jpg) ![Sky-Watcher AZ-GTE Mount - SynScan GoTo Telescope Mount - 42,900+ Object Database - Adjustable Height Aluminum Tripod (S21140) - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51W9KoXl7KL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Mount *by N***K on January 5, 2021* When my Celestron mount died I replaced it with this one.
