I liked that it was just the way it looked on line. I will order some more.

I purchased this for substrate in my turtle tank. The mulch has large chunks. Some pieces are almost as large as my hand. It has no cedar odor. For an outside flower bed, it might be okay, but for my purpose it will not work. If I thought I could return it, I would, but the bag is opened and a good portion is already in the tank. Depends on your use, but I don't recommend. Much larger than what you'd expect, even for yard mulch.

This is a terrible mulch if I could get my money back I would it is nothing like the picture it has big chunks of wood (really big)and the rest big chunks of shredded wood it has made my garden look terrible and I will have to have my yard man remove it all it is the worst mulch I have ever used I do not recommend it unless you want your garden to look tacky and I ordered three orders of this terrible product,Amazon should check out their product s better.And they didn’t give me the 8qts. Free.

I bought two of these cedar mulch for underneath my backyard's Black Oak tree. The tree is happy. The product is good.

It was old with no smell at all.
