It's taste is great and easy to use

This is a great replacement for sugar or artificial sweeteners. I use this in my tea and it doesn't give it an artificial taste like alternative sweeteners. A little goes a long way and I know this will last me a while.

If I see something I've never tasted, I tend to buy it and then try it. Well, this is the tastiest brown sugar ever!! Now western (over processed) brown sugar tastes sweet, but it's a single note. When I tasted Jaggery, I discovered a sweet symphony in my mouth. It's quickly become a favorite in my house. Very, very few western sugars are used for anything now. Jaggery is fabulous! Do be careful if you buy Jaggery that it is "powder", which seems to translate in what I think is plain old sugar. Much Jaggery is sold in more of a brick fashion. So be careful to compare the various "Jaggery" products.

I've bought this jaggery about 10 times already. I would give it 5 stars but; 1. Check prices from other sellers. Prices can differ by $5, even with free shipping included. Overall, most prices are too high here, but unfortunately, amazon is one of the only venues I know of to buy this. 2. Only one time I found some foreign material in the bag which resembled a small piece of string, but it's been a great product for the most part.

Bought palm sugar on spec because many many year ago (late 1950's - yeah, I'm that ould) as a child, spent a couple year in Asia, and still rember a very tasty sugar candy that was made there. I think it must have been made from this stuff. Wish could find the recipe. Side note: there's a related product, coconut sugar, which is ALSO evilly good, and similarly far bettar than regular sugar. Actually prefer to use it in coffee.

I purchased this to sweeten chai tea and other rich winter beverages. It adds a delicious flavor to brown spice beverages. Came in good time and packaged well.

I know comparing to other brands is what we do when we try new things. For me the standard is Laxmi jaggery powder. I didn't like this much as it's a bit sweeter

I purchased this excited that I would not have to crush up larger cubes of Jaggery. I've been wanting to change over from regular white table sugar to healthier options. I was a little confused that there is no iron present in this jaggery? One of the reasons that I thought it was healthier was due to its iron content and other trace minerals. Perhaps it is just too low of an amount to count? Or maybe it is processed differently to be within organic guidelines? The tast is wonderful and it is very convenient to add to my coffee, tea, and cooking which I love :).
