Fishing Timer Quartz Watch with Resin Strap

I bought this because it reminded me of some of the Casio game and gadget watches from the 80s. I have the green version. Some of the pictures I have seen made the text on the watch look visually overwhelming and showed seams in the case that did not look great. The version I have looks much better in person. The watch is very light. The band is curved like a G-Shock band to absorb impacts. The negatives of the band is that it is fairly rigid. I do not find it to be uncomfortable but it is not the nicest. I do believe the lugs are 18mm and that the band could be replaced easily with a variety of bands available. The watch wears well on my 6.5" wrist and is smaller than many of Casio's offerings. It is very legible and the light while being a single LED lights the screen well enough to be seen in the dark and can be adjusted from 1-3 seconds. It also contributes to the vintage appeal of the design. You get a 10 year battery life which is amazing. The watch is very full featured. It is a little harder to set up initially but there are some very good tutorials available and once it is set up it is pretty maintenance free. The fishing feature uses moon phases and location to predict when fish will be more active. I really do not fish often but for a watch with 100m water resistance, a 10 year battery, backlight, alarms, stopwatch, multiple time zones and moon phase sub $40 this is a great piece. Being able to see when the fish are hungry is a cool bonus and when you use the stopwatch the fish have a party on the dial.

This watch is fun. Having the moon and tides in a cheap little watch is super cool. I’m a fisherman and look forward to trying the fish timer aspect out, so I can’t speak on that yet. All in all, a comfortable and nice looking watch with a very low price tag for what it is.

I bought the Casio WS-1200H Fishing Timer from Amazon US for $34.99, but after adding around 40% import duty + delivery charges, the final price became quite expensive for me. This watch has been very durable. The fishing forecast feature is neat but not sure if it's accurate. Price is reasonable and looks and functions great.

This thing isn't a G-Shock but it is very close in terms of design. The only thing I see that could be a problem is scratching the glass due to them not having a bevel on this watchface. Following the manual made the watch easy to setup with a quick google search for UTC and Longitude. The moon phase is cool to have The fish radar is absolutely sweet on a watch. Please don't expect this to be perfect in its accuracy. It seems to give you a good idea of when the fish will be biting based on moon phase and time of day. I just think it's cool to see all the fish on the radar. The green color is very OD military like. Dude for the price it really is a steal. I've worn in to the lake swimming, fishing, bathing, showering no problems with water proofing. Good watch, buy one.

I love to fish so anything fishing related I like and the long battery life is great, it’s kinda scratched it’s the perfect size for me. The display is great in the sun and the little light works good. I don’t take care of it at all and it still works so it’s pretty durable. I like the look of the watch with the moon phase and the fish levels.

It may have a battery, but I doubt the band will last very long. It feels more like a cheep quality child's watch. Compared to another watch I have of the same brand I found this was a lot cheaper made and a lot more difficult to set the time on. The 10 year battery was the main selling point for me, but given that I doubt the band will last a year or two if I'm lucky it makes the long battery life pointless so I would not recommend this watch.
