Very interesting book!

Reading this was like a trip down memory lane with artists I have loved through the years.I greatly admire the detailed research Rob Clark put into this well written, fun book.

Excellent narrative and presentation of the little known and underappreciated history of performances at Aggieland. Having been there and seen first hand some of these performers, Rob's well researched and easy read book brings to life the personalities involved. Not only the performers, but those responsible behind the scenes, as well. Setting the context of the times when Nat King Cole, Elvis, and others rolled through was informative. I frequented the Lakeview Club well, just wish now that I would have appreciated it better at the time.

Rob Clark is a gifted & well researched writer. Live from Aggieland will grab and hold your attention. He masterfully describes the impact these legendary performers had on Texas A&M and the lasting impact the Aggie spirit had on these legendary performers. If you love Texas and legendary performers, you'll devour this read. Gig'em!

Well-written and entertaining. I'm not even an Aggie, but the first-person accounts and documented stories made for great reading. A wonderful historical document as well as a humorous collection of stories that apply to more than just Aggies.

Being a native Texan I love to read about my state. Bob Clark has done a wonderful job of presenting events that anyone would enjoy. It was fun reading about the music of the times and of course Aggieland. Well written and researched.

I loved this book! It is beautifully written, thoroughly researched and fun to read. The entertainers the author writes about are favorites of mine and I found the stories of their visits to Aggieland fascinating.
