Ladder's Little Helper

Ladder's little helper is quite a good product. You do need an extension pole to get it on to the gutter. I use it in my business so I do not scratch the gutters also so that the ladder doesn't slide to the left or right.Build quality:9/10. This is not a cheap plastic product. The plastic is hard and rigid and looks like it will hold up for years to come.Practicality/ usability: 9/10. I needed a way to not scratch the gutter as well as keep the ladder stabilized. This product has rubber on the inside to grip to the gutter as well as the outside to grip the ladder. The grip is quite good (once it is on the gutter with ladder up against it, it really is hard to slide if at all) Simply take your extension pole and hang it on the gutter set your ladder up against it and your'e good to go. I needed to move my ladder multiple times along the gutter so I bought 2 and the system works great.I did try using an older aluminum ladder from the 80s I believe, the ladder was actually too wide for the Ladder's Little Helper so you do need a narrow enough ladder, I believe most ladders made today will suffice. My current ladder is Werner 25' aluminium.

This is a simple easy to use product that helps keep the top of your ladder in place and protects the gutter from scratching. I used a piece of pvc I had lying around as a pole to place it in position which worked perfectly .

I put new gutters and downspouts on my house this year, and decided to look for something that allows me to get up on the roof without bending or damaging the new gutters. This tool not only prevents damage it steadies my ladder so there's less chance to fall. In addition placing and removing was a snap with a broom stick or paint roller handle in my case.

This is a great item that fits in a gutter well to get access to a roof without damaging the gutter. It's durable and keeps you safe by not allowing the ladder to slide. Everyone at our roofing company keeps we in the truck.

I was hope full the "Ladder's Little Helper" would protect the gutter from crushing. It does not.I placed it over one of the support brackets, placed my ladder and climbed up. The support bracket bent, and the gutter crushed in. After straightening everything, I placed a section of 2x4 in the gutter behind the Helper. That did the trick.The helper does protect the face of the gutter from ladder damage. Also provides some stabilization of the ladder against the ladder. I would probably return it, but Helper has marks from the ladder.I will continue to use, but will be adding the 2x4 support in the gutter.

Note, wait for sale cause it is over priced but works exactly as designed and saves me from destroying the gutters on my house each time I need to get on roof. BUY.
