Good but not perfect
I like the light weight and ease of rolling a carrier on errands with rather than carrying my small dog. It fits easily on the floor board of the passenger front seat, and is easy to put inside and take out of the car. However, I am disappointed in the finishing of the mesh at the zipper throughout the carrier. It is "unfinished" like a raw edge on sweatshirt styles - merely stitched together with excess mesh that a) can be caught in the zipper, and b) can potentially tear apart from the stitching. It is too soon to know if this will come about, but for the price well over $100, I am concerned. That is why I gave it 4 vs. 5 stars.Gen 7 pet products are normally high quality. I have a full size stroller that I use regularly for my dog on long walks. All stitching is well finished, and I have had no issues with it. Hoping for the best with the rolling carrier.

I really wanted to love this.
Although Allegiant Airlines allowed this carrier, it was not a keeper. It is very uncomfortable to wear, especially across the lower back, unlike my other backpack carrier. Also, the Gen7Pets does not wheel smoothly and easily. It needs a fifth wheel to give it a better range for pulling. Finally, when the carrier is lying on its side for the pet to lie down, the top area has two separate areas with zippers instead of one large zipper. That means it does not work well for car travel, and it is more difficult to get the pet in the carrier.I really wanted to like this because of its size, but it just does not work well. If the company makes those simple changes, I will be a customer!

Best Pet Carrier I've Had
Finally, I found the perfect pet carrier to travel with. Recently flew on Delta airlines with a 15 lb chiweenie (chihuahua/dachshund mix) and he fit perfectly in this carrier. We got the large and never had a problem with this fitting underneath the seat. There are 2 fastener clips at the bottom of the carrier that secure it when it's upright along with a velcro fold over flap at the bottom (for a more secure sturdy ride) --PLEASE NOTE: in order to fit this carrier underneath the seat...those 2 clips along with the velcro flap need to be undone in order for the carrier to collapse properly to slide under the seat. The rolling option of the carrier is heaven sent as well as the fact that it can turn into a backpack. I primarily used it as a backpack but when the weight of my pup got to me...it was so nice to know that I could just roll him throughout the airport.A quick pros and cons run down for you:PROS:1. Large is a perfect fit for any dog 14 lbs or heavier. I'm not entirely certain what the maximum pound capacity is though. I can't imagine it's over 18/20 lbs.2. The rolling feature is such an incredible addition. comes in handy when you need it3. The backpack feature is the best part about it4. It also comes with 2 zippered pockets on each side for storing leashes, treats, etc.5. The carrier itself is lightweight to make sure you're not overwhelming yourself with extra unnecessary bulkiness6. There are mesh zippered windows all throughout it so that your pet has enough air and oxygen while crammed underneath the airplane seat. The mesh window on top was perfect for us to just open throughout the flight so that he could peek his cute little head out from it.CONS:1. The price is a little high but honestly it's worth it. I purchase another carrier for around $60/80 before this (it was the backpack style) and it didn't survive one trip. At the end of the first trip, the strap broke off. This lasted the entire trip and I can see myself using for many future uses2. It hasn't happened to this carrier (yet) but I could see how if you're not super careful...especially when handling and/or storing...I could see how the mesh windows and possible the zippers could become flimsy and break - I would encourage everyone to be careful and store it in a safe place when it's not in use. I wouldn't store anything on top of it as to avoid the mesh snagging on something3. The large does fit underneath the seat without issues, but if you're a taller individual - be warned that you may not have a comfortable amount of floor space to rest your feet. It may be an awkward squeeze. We made it work just fine but this may bother some.

Love it! (Update:since travel read at the bottom)
I put a lot of pictures on there in hopes this would help in making a choice. I had a hard time finding what I was looking for because my dog is medium size but these skinny legs he has made it hard. I really can’t wait to give you the update on how it looks and works on the plane.Update: still love it and still stand by this carrier. I just wanted to added, I rode on Alaska Airlines, going to my destination I had a middle sit and that was not the way to go. I had to put my baby under the a nice stranger next to me, who sat near the window. When traveling I suggest to get window seating or the aisle seating. More leg room and room for the carrier. Now, I am not sure how Delta or Southwest are, but to be on the safe side, I would suggest those because they almost tried it with me by stating they were going to have to have to make different arrangements with me, mind you I called the airline and gave them the size, my dog size and talked to my vet. So, I hope this help. Also, he laid perfectly by the window. So on my way home, I got a window seat and I have more leg room.

Exactly as pictured and described
This was a very practical carrier with the pull handles built in, however it was just a little small for my new rescue so I returned it - but again having the wheels and telescoping handles built in are great.

Not true to requirements for therapy dogs.
The product has several entries one could use to admit the pet into the bag. The airline isles have been remodeled . Therefore I had to pack my rolling carrier on and off the plane . Difficult to roll when rollers are 1 direction . Makes pulling or pushing very challenging when I had more than 1 bag . Dog had to be removed from carrier to put it under a window seat .Bag would not stand up while side was open unzipped

Perfect pet carrier and my 4lb Yorker can lie flat ...
Perfect pet carrier and my 4lb Yorker can lie flat while moving her.Only thing that would be nice is if all 4 wheels could be “spinner wheels”.

Good design but fatal defect!
I only enjoyed this product for a few days, and then the zip on the right side broke and the whole right mesh window opened, exposing my furry child! Luckily I found it in a church. What if it happened on an esclator or when crossing the busy traffic! Imagine this fatal defect could have killed my dog! I am in the process of returing it.
