CD711T Portable CD Player with Bluetooth 5.1 Stereo Headphones and, Anti Shock Protection for Car Travel and Home

I have had the HOTT rechargeable CD player in the past and it never disappoints. It is Bluetooth ready and pairs up to headphones with ease. The player offers multiple listening playback options. You can shuffle or repeat playback tracks. I have tried others players that stated they were shock proof but in reality the slightest bump and it skipped or stopped playing. This HOTT can take a hard knock or a drop without even a skip. Satisfied listener. My favorite material is audiobooks. Yes, I stream on my cellphone but free count is limited. The library has an unlimited free supply of audiobooks. This makes my HOTT CD player like a good friend an has the benefit of multitasking.

Simple features & surprisingly good sound even with the simple earbuds supplied. Paired this with my Bluetooth headphones & sound is even better. Battery life seems good but will need to put it to the test. For the price this is a good quality CD player. A good option for those who like actual CDs & the old fashioned yet updated disk players out there. I also like the feature of “hold” to keep player from accidentally being turned on while in carrying case. Does not come with a case & is small & kind of slick to hold so a case is recommended. Good product for the money so far.

This is the second portable CD player I have purchased from Amazon to play compact discs in my 2015 Subaru Forester (the CD player in the original vehicle audio system stopped working). The Bluetooth function did not interface with my car’s audio system, but connection via 3.5mm audio cable worked perfectly. Controls are clearly marked and easy to use while driving. Unfortunately, when the player is switched off, it does not -- when powered up again -- pick up at the point of playback of a CD left off. CD playback can be paused, but ONLY WHILE the unit is SWITCHED ON, drawing down the charge. I was willing to overlook this deficiency if the player reliably played CDs. Priced higher than other portable CD players, I had reasonable hopes that playing CDs might be problem free. For a few weeks, the player worked as advertised. Then, it began to skip, pause and hic-cup while playing CDs. It did not matter if the CDs were brand new, or those gently cared for from my collection. None of the discs played show any sign of scratches or CD rot. Too late now to return this unit for a refund. After experiencing the disappointing performance of the HOTT CD711T and the previously purchased NAVISKAUTO portable CD player, I am convinced one cannot find a reliable, reasonably priced CD player for use in my car. Will now perhaps start exploring Kenwood’s or Pioneer’s (more expensive) custom in-dash CD units. Sigh.

My wife loves listening to audio books, and this CD player works perfectly for her. She can adjust volume, track and other features even in the dark (and she likes listening to her books in bed, before sleeping). The sound quality is admirable and their customer service is the best. Just about two years after purchase, she accidentally broke one of the earpieces: the cord just snapped, broke. The other piece kept working. I contacted Hott's customer service to inquire about purchasing a spare piece, and I sent them copy of the Amazon order with all the information... And they sent me a spare for free! Needless to say, I have my own CD player (purchased about a year after I bought my wife's). I am now sure that if anything happens to it, as long as I didn't cause it, I'll be covered. So, if only for the superb customer service, this is a worthy purchase.

I have a 2018 Chevy Equinox and they are not equipped with a CD player. I have finally found an external CD player that WORKS in my car. This is the second item I purchased (other one claimed it would work with my car...and DIDN'T). The instructions are not very good so after playing around with the buttons, plugs and my car stereo system I finally was able to listen to my own CD's. The only draw back that I can see so far is that it doesn't work with my car stereo buttons. There is not much room around the console to place this item so I will more than likely find some way to attach it to the top of the dash since I have to be able to use the buttons on the player. Thank You HOTT for making this item.

This cd player is a real portable cd player. It is light and small enough for me to put it in my pocket. My friends were shocked when I get my cd player out of my pocket! They can't hang out without my cd player now. It can connect with my Bluetooth headset and speaker easily. And its Bluetooth is stable. Its functions are very complete, the battery is durable as well as rechargeable. It reads discs fast, has good sound quality, and is portable. This is a recommended cd player.

The good - it does play the CD. The buttons work & can be figured out without instructions. The sound is average. The bad - the unit has a very light, brittle, plastic feel to it. I don't think it will last long. If that were the only issue, I would have kept it and given it a try. But I returned it because of the crazy bluetooth function. I bought it solely to connect to a quality bluetooth speaker in my office which has a total of 8 bluetooth devices running at all times. This CD player does not allow you to select a device to connect to let alone set one as a default. No, it attempts to randomly connect to any of the 8 bluetooth devices. So in order to get it to connect to my selected speaker, I had to turn off all other 7 devices (keyboard, mouse, printer, jabra speaker, mobile phones, etc...). That is in no way practical. Today it should be expected that a user will have multiple bluetooth devices in range whether you're at home, in an office, or in public. So this is just not usable. If you only have one bluetooth device within range of where you plan to use this player, it may be worth a try. But I think for many people, this is just not a practical function. The manufacturer should know this.

Love this little CD player. Bluetooth capability is perfect for me to listen to my meditation with headphones. Recharges quickly and has a 2hr run time. Very happy.

Pésimo, no ajusta al cd y por ende no lo reconoce. Mala compra!

En la descripción del producto se indicaba la utilidad del Bluetooth, lo cual no funciono, tampoco la lectura del CD. La carga supuestamente se completaba, pero al prender el LED por unos segundos se volvía a apagar para indicar que tenía batería baja. Se devolvió el producto casi de manera inmediata.
