Good buy
We bought this for our laundry room. There isn't alot of space so when not in use we can lower the counter. Works perfectly!

Holds up a shelf. Metal is pretty sharp on the corners.
This hinge is good for utilitarian uses but can injure kids who get their fingers stuck in the release. NOT recommended for kid operations. The edges of the metal need filed down some.

Solid, good quality and worth every penny
The media could not be loaded. Good, SOLID Brackets. I bought here elsewhere but I figured I'd give the break down here. We didn't have much room in our laundry room to do much with, and putting a table to fold/iron etc was out of the question, so I had the idea to build a fold down table, and These brackets made this project so easy, and simple. And quick too.. i like them, I'm planning on making another fold down table in the garage.

Sharp burrs on edges
The stamped locking/release lever and side supports have sharp burrs and edge which would cut if one drags a finger across. This is typical of bad tooling. I will install and then decide if I will keep or not. The brackets seem sturdy and otherwise well made. The packet of misc screws and wall inserts is useless to me.If I keep, I will file the burrs and sharp edges so nobody gets hurt. The Chinese manufacturer should tumble the parts before assembling in order to dull the sharp edges. Their shortcut could result in actual cuts and injury.

Good Brackets; Included Hardware is garbage
I used these brackets to install a standing height desk in my guestroom since I'm now teleworking full time. I set a 25"x50"x1.5" butcher block on 2 brackets with no issues. Very sturty.Don't use the wood anchors they are pure garbage. I pre-drilled the holes for them, went to mount the bracket and they failed to expand. I instead used lag bolts to mount the brackets the studs in my walls.
