excellent-easy to use, I would like to be able to call my contact person also. This one only contacts for an ambulance but it saved mu life when I had a heart attack so not complaining!

I really like this pendant. When you press the large button it connects you directly with 911. I did test it and it worked. When I talked to the operator to ask if they could tell the location,they did have the approximate location. I live in an apartment complex, so they didn’t know what number I’m in. Basically it’s still important to give your exact address if at all possible. It has fall detection, which works! The pendant fell off my nightstand and before I could pick it up and cancel the alarm it called 911. It’s pretty lightweight so I wear it on the lanyard. I like that it goes directly to 911 and not a call center. For a true emergency seconds count so why waste time with a call center!! And this has no fees of any kind!! I feel a lot safer wearing it. It has a rechargeable battery that lasts for about 6 days. There is a green light on the side of the unit that flashes, that shows you have a cell signal. A red light comes on when it needs to be charged. I’ve had other similar pendants that didn’t seem reliable , but so far this works great!

Bought these for my dad and aunt. They work great. Detects a fall as it should and 911 operator said she could hear us talk clearly and we could hear her clearly. No gps but it was triangulatied to our general area.

79 years old, with several health conditions: Because it is comfortable, I wear it every day. I tested it once in the place I was most likely to fall (bottom of the stairs). It worked just fine with the drop motion. I will test it in a month in the kitchen to make sure appliances don’t block the signal. I’ll update this post then. And I always put it on the floor in the bathroom where I can reach it if I fall out of the shower. No, I don’t sleep with it, but it is on the headboard where I can reach it if I need it, and the blinking light on it tells me where it is in the dark. I just kind of wish it still had a good GPS in case I’m unconscious and can’t speak. Update: Been wearing this for six months now. Test it monthly. Charge it every other night. This model does not have GPS (wish it did, along with 5G). Funny story: I was at the children’s museum, earthquake exhibit, jumping up and down on platform to see how strong and earthquake we could produce. Suddenly the 911 operator was talking to me thru SkyAngel. We all laughed and apologized to the operator. 14 months after purchase, it is still working just fine. Been wearing it for 2 years, 3 months now. Used it past winter when I got into distress snowblowing, and could not even make it to the phone. I pushed the button, talked with 911 operator, and the paramedics arrived quickly. I am 81 now. This SkyAngel is worth every penny.

It works to call 911. I tossed it on the bed and it called before I could cancel it. I like the no monthly fee. I feel safer knowing I can press the SOS button for help. However I have fallen 3 times and it did not call. I have accidentally dropped it and it has not called. So if I am unconscious I would be in trouble. The SkyAngel company told me the sensitivity is set to avoid nuisance calls. I honestly cannot recommend this product.

I was excited to receive this, charged it and tested it immediately,as directions suggested, and it worked. That's the last good thing I could say. It's bulky to wear under clothing. I bent down to feed my dog and the button hit my loose pajama top and called 911. It has two little LED's on the side that are indicators of charge and cell connection. Button blinks all the time. If you wear it outside your clothes, you glow like a Christmas tree. The darn thing works TOO well to be practical. When I was trying to box it up to return it, I inadvertently touched the SOS button and called 911. The button doesn't have to be pressed to work, it just has to rub lightly against something. I fear that on its way back to Amazon, it will call 911 a dozen times. I guess I'm glad it works, but this is ridiculously sensitive and a nuisance so not practical unless you want to be constantly apologizing to 911 for annoying them unnecessarily.

The company really tests and supports their products. The 911 cellular dialing worked in many tested locations. The fall detection worked when tested and did not go off when I wore it cleaning the parents' house. Unfortunately, my too hip 80 year old mother decided she want a working 4g cellular without a watch without a smart phone, instead. So, I am calling this same company for a 911 watch. These 911 dialers are not for people who have heart attacks, or fall down unconsciously. Skyangel911.com sales have other solutions. A person needs to be able to tell 911 the emergency and their location. For a wabbly person, this is perfect.
