Lining was hanging out of the bottom of the dress! :(
60.00 for a dress where the lining hangs out of the lace!? The lining was hanging out an inch and a half. I didn't have time to send it back so I altered it myself. The dress is cute but bad quality! If the lining wasn't so badly done I would give it 5 stars.

Current size chart seems way off... Expect Juniors Sizing
The size small fits well on an approx. 110lb, 5'3 woman. I'd say it is closer to a Junior's XS-S or a womans 0 petite. It is definitely short - on a 5'3 woman it is only slightly longer than the length as shown on the model. The current size chart is totally messed up - and a size S definitely does not translate to a woman's size 4-6.The forest green looks much darker in person than on my computer screen... almost thought I had received the black at first, it's that dark. The fit and fabric are nice. The fabric is softer and more stretchy than one would guess from the pictures - definitely not scratchy lace. The bell sleeves are trendy right now, though I can't imagine that lasting. It would be super easy to cut off the bell part and hem to a regular sleeve once the novelty of the bell sleeve wears off. Then this would be a classic sleeved sheath dress with a neat pattern.

Ok, soft lace, dress has problems for me!
This is a ok looking dress if you Do Not have a tummy like I do! For me to wear this I would have to buy a spanx tummy control I think!I’m older and very conscious of my tummy showing, and will not buy anything that it shows in, and this does show.I tryed this on with a short jacket over, and it looked just ok.!The color is a dark navy blue, with round small coin size lace that is soft. The stretchy soft lining starts about 2 inch down from the neckline.( that is big on me)The dress looks like there is no waist to it, but there is. It does show curves. The zipper worked good, but pukered in the back, did not lay flat. The lining came about 1/2 inch or so shorter then the bottom of the dress.I’m thinking since the lining is heavy, it is at some point going to hung longer then the bottom of the dress and show. Not a good look.I wear a Size 10, this is a Extra large and is big on me, but a smaller size would be too small I’m guessing!I got the extra large thinking I could wear this over leggings! Wrong.Looking at the model, I was thinking as I said, I could wear this as a top over leggings . No , this is above my knees, but defiantly a dress, not a top.I think this runs large, but I won’t wear this dress. Not my style.Giving this 3 stars, but not because it does not fit, not so good looking etc.

Not as bad as all that...
A lot of complaints about the hem on this dress. We didn't have the same problems others had.The one we received came out well. The "slip" is about an inch under the lace, or to say it in another way, the lace comes an inch past the slip. The biggest problem is this runs tiny! The Medium which does fit my wife (5'4", 130lbs, 34C) on other brands was way too small here. So I had to recruit my beanpole 14 yr old daughter to wear this. She has some room to grow into this but at her size this is too close to fitting her well for a Medium (5'2", 85lbs).My teenager likes the bell sleeves. She also likes the modest length just below her knees. She did say it sort of made her feel like a dress she would wear to a funeral, but she could wear this out to her dance events too.OVERALL:These seem to run Asian sizes where are a size or two below U.S.A. sizes. It would be nice if these foreign countries would figure this out before posting on Amazon U.S. Otherwise, our dress appears well constructed and fits a teen well enough.

Elegant and comfortable
This is a lined laced dress with ¾ sleeves. The outer fabric (lace) is 70% cotton, 30% nylon, while the lining is 100% polyester and has some stretch to it. The lining extends from 2” below the neckline in the front through the bodice down to about 2” above the hem. The sleeves are not lined. The zipper is in the back and has a thin metal pull. The garment was made in Vietnam.I like this dress a lot. It is quite comfortable and the weight of the lace makes it hang gracefully. The neckline is quite modest, and the length is just right. Although the lining looks like it might extend beyond the hem while the dress is on a hanger, it does not extend when the dress is on my body—I think the stretchy polyester in the lining holds on to the right places, making it shorter than the lace when worn. At 5’2” and 115 lbs, I usually wear size S/M T-shirts and size 10 petite slacks. I tried size L dress and it fit me well, although I probably could have also gotten into a size M. Overall, this is an elegant dress, comfortable to wear, and modest.

Nice Fabric and Concept, Poor Quality Control
This Painted Heart Women's 3/4 Bell Sleeve dress is pretty in concept, and has a heavier feeling (70% cotton, 30% nylon) lace outer layer over a polyester underslip. I thought this Medium fit me well- US Women's 4-6/ 34B/36B, without being too tight, but looking fitted. I thought the design was quite nice as well, with the bell sleeves that looked feminine and not too poofy. The sleeves, shoulders and top of the chest area are only covered by lace, and the slip is attached underneath like a long tube top down the rest of the dress. There is a hidden zippered back, and the dress is comfortable to wear because of the stretchy and soft slip. The lace is also soft (feels like a crochet), but only stretches slightly in a diagonal. The reason I gave this a 3 star rating, is that the slip hangs down under the hem of the dress approx. an inch. This is not a design element either, since the sewn seam of the hem is sticking right out, and it looks ridiculous. Perhaps I received a mistake. I would need to hem the slip on this before i can wear it out.
