Like everyone who bought this shaker, I have issues with traditional shaker leaks and drips everywhere. I have the traditional and Boston style for over 10 years, just thought that’s what I have to live with. They leaks, cold to the touch, hard to clean and drips everywhere when you pour. This literally corrected every issue. All other reviews said it leaks everyone, splashed people and uncontrollably hard to use. Despite all that I bought it for thanksgiving and used it everyday as a trial run. All I can say is “ I love it”. It never leaked once. I notice there are spots like the filter and the lead have to be sitting correctly and locked down tight. I wonder if the people claim it leaked”everywhere” is because they didn’t crew it down correctly. Once you do, no leaks, no drips and no splashing people at all. My hands stay warm and no sweating from the shaker unlike the stainless steel ones. It is big which also solved my can’t make enough issue. Easy to clean too. Yeah, it’s a little pricy for a plastic shaker. however, this ain’t the cheaply made plastic shaker that people get for free from buying a bottle of $20 tequila. It’s basically a double walled plastic yeti. If they make it with good quality double walled stainless steel. I would expect the price to be in the $60s. Still people will also have something to complain about. If you pay attention to the locking spots inside the shake this will change your life. I mean as far as mixing drinks goes...

I purchased this shaker for my husband for fathers day. It was probably more of a gift for me because our old shaker was really hard to open and I hated it. He received this and it went into immediate use. We used it probably 10 times and then we had an issue. My husband dropped the shaker on a hard tile floor and it hit in just the right place for the top portion to sheer off. After thinking about it a few days, I contacted the sellers to see what we could do. They apologized (even though we broke it) and send us a new one free of charge. I received it three days later and have loved having it to use again. It is very easy to open, love the two sized strainer holes and easy to clean. So happy with this purchase. This shaker came in a very sharp looking tube that has almost a retro look to it. I got this as a promotional product and was impressed at how nice it looked on the outside. Once I opened it I was equally impressed. It may be made of a special plastic but it has a very nice feel to it will little to no flex so it feels like it is high quality even if it isn't metal like most shakers. Once i dug in a little deeper I found a little slip that even had an offer to get some free strainers that came in a few colors. I look forward to ordering those soon. The only reason I did not give this product a 5 star review is the fact that twice when I went to close it the top became cross threaded and was a little difficult to get undone. I think if they had used wider or thicker threads I would not have had this issue.

Pros:1) The lid locks tightly onto the shaker so that I'm able to shake it with one hand without having to worry about the lid coming off.2) The shaker doesn't get slippery like a metal or glass shaker would when water condensates on the container.3) The frosted appearance is actually a lot cooler than I thought.4) My hands don't get ice-cold after making a lot of drinks like metal or glass shakers would.5) Two types of strain: fine (no ice or pulp) and large (quicker pouring with pulp and small ice shards).6) The lip protects from spilling the drink when pouring it into a glass.Cons:1) After a few back-to-back uses the shaker begins to leak (which is why I'm giving this 4 stars instead of 5).2) Doesn't fit on top shelf of dishwasher.Neutral:1) The shaker is much bigger than I imagined it would be.Overall: Great product, easy to use. I would recommend this to my friends.

Hard to show in a picture, but I added anyway... I really like this shaker, but the big issue I'm having is the top portion getting liquid into it even though it's completely sealed. This means there's no way to get it back out unless I drill holes/cut it, but definitely shouldn't have this issue for this cost.

UPDATED REVIEW 2-8-16updating my review, company contacted me and apparently I had a faulty lid, they sent the replacement right away and now it works as advertised.First the good, It is a nice size for 2-3 cocktails, your hand doesn't get cold and the strainer works nicelyNow the not so good...- The strainer is a bit tricky to lock in place- You really have to make sure the lid is on securely, as in "push down really hard"- The packaging clearly says dishwasher safe, however we have found that the cap gets water in when we run it through the dishwasher. ... Very frustrating since there doesn't appear to be a way to get it out. ( can't wait for the mold to start appearing ...)I would rate higher if the lid didn't take on water.. :(

I recently purchased the Shaker 33 cocktail shaker and truly enjoy using it. Because it seals completely, it can be used one handed, although it is on the large size and those with smaller hands may not find that they can easily shake it one handed. The strainer is, frankly, the best designed strainer system I have yet seen on a cocktail shaker. Build quality is also very high. My only reason for not giving it five stars is simply that I would love to see the design elements and quality built into a truly high end shaker - one made of tempered glass with a silver, stainless steel, or chrome lid. I realize this would probably put the price over $100 but I for one would pay for a high end version of this shaker. Otherwise it is outstanding and highly recommended.
