I just received this skirt. Although, it is beautiful it has a grease or blood stain on the front.

I bought this for a costume party in a few weeks. It's a pretty color and nice design, but the waist is a bit tight. However, it will work ok for the time I need to wear it. The main problem with it is it is so very poorly constructed. The waist seam catches in extra fabric, as does the side seam, and the hem is very wonky. The hem height varies by several inches! I may revamp it if I have time before the party: I will cut the elastic waist band off; re-stitch the side seam with a wider allowance to catch all the raw bits; re-cut the top edge to make it level with the hem all the way around, then fold over a new elastic casing at the top and run new, longer elastic through. That's "all" that needs to be done to make this a more quality skirt.

Worn by Gipsy women of europa. if worn waist highton the w skirt will fit shorter ( depend on your hight and mesurments body wise ) if worn below the tommy-botton, skirt will cover the ankle. The fabric is a bit fractile must be hand-washed in warm water and gently hand rinse. To keep the siquins-sparkle, use only soft liquid light fluid detergent such as Woolite only!! Do not put in a dryer, instead hang over a shower curtain to dry. The skirt has no inner lining, so be careful not to rip the inside sewing parts. Wear a long slip recommended. No iron!! Sake the skirt after it is dry. Always handle sirt with care for long lasting wear.

I have 2 major problems with this skirt.1. The colors are NOTHING like shown online. I mean, I understand about monster screen. But what I saw looked like a yellow, maybe even gold and black skirt. The result was a brown and black skirt. At best, a burnt orange. But it was still a rather pretty skirt, so I figured I would just live with it. You can see my pic below to a see more accurate photo.It appears I ordered 2 skirts, so I wore one, and figured I’d give one to a friend. But then, I washed one.2. After washing, most of the design almost completely disappeared. It’s now just a black skirt, with some sequins tied one, and a vague gold outline which will probably go away in another wash. Check out the second pic for compassion. The original skirt laid side by side with identical one after washing. Check out the difference!I’m 5’5, 176 lbs. The waist band was a bit snug, but doable. I don’t think I could tolerate it if it was any tighter though.

The skirt was exactly as pictured

Its a nice skirt and make sure to wash in cold water. But there is no protective in-lining to prevent an errant toe from tugging on and sometimes breaking the stitching (hard tack really) stinging on the sequence. It gets everywhere. Thinner fabric so it's breezy but snags a little easier. Good dress skirt, but not the best for tooling around in.If you are like myself and wear long skirts consistently.

This skirt is gorgeous! The only reason I'm giving it 3 stars is because the pattern is painted on. So when you go to wash your skirt, a lot of the paint washes right off. Also, all sequins are sewn on without each section getting tied off and secured before going onto the next one. So the inside is like a web of thread your toes must avoid or they'll get caught as you try to put on the skirt. Apart from this, the skirt is lovely and I enjoy wearing it.

I am a size 12 and the elastic waist is too tight. I will never wear this. I am not a seamstress, I am too busy with a full time job to take clothing for alterations, nor will I take the time to find out what is required to return it via DHL to India. The fabric color and pattern is very pretty. Length is perfect.
