This was my first attempt at building one of these kits, but it won't be the last; I've already ordered the Jeep, and will probably do the locomotive after that. It's been many years since I built a model of anything, and I have to say I enjoyed this a bunch. I suppose you can assemble it without tools, it's very well designed, and there are extras of the delicate parts, but you may find, as I did, a couple of small tools will come in handy and aid assembly. A sharp hobby knife, tweezers (my old man's hands don't work like they use to), and a couple of needle files. This project was quite immersive, and although it took me longer than four hours, I enjoyed every blissful minute of losing myself in the building process. There were a couple of challenging sections, but in the end, I didn't break any parts, and the result looks good. I may touch up some of the spots where the parts were joined to the sheet, and find a suitable place in my home to display it. Great job, ROKR!

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband. He was interesting in getting into building models so I thought this would be a good one to start with. He loves it and is so impressed with the quality of the pieces and how well they fit together. It doesn’t require glue or any tools and the pieces fit together perfectly. Yes some pieces are fragile and you need to be careful, but he hasn’t had any problem with them breaking. I will definitely be buying more of these in the future, the quality and details can’t be beat.

This is a very well dtvesigned and y manufactured product, not too simple to assemble but it is rewarding when done. The laser etching is extremely detailed (just look at the video I made) and results in a nice looking display piece.

My first wood model and it went together reasonably well. The finished product looks good - better than anticipated. Had to use wood glue only in a few areas - but most pieces snapped together well.

Fun Build

It is a terrific gift, alot of detail, very technical effort to put together. Great for someone who likes puzzles

We have purchased several of this brand an ok, there is occasional breakage when putting together, but my husband who does these regularly even mentioned to me that the pieces in this particular one, seemed to break more easily than others. For the price, I guess we are not going to cry about it, but I would not recommend this particular item for someone not used to the delicate nature of these items.

This puzzle was genuinely enjoyable to put together, and I'm very pleased with both the experience and the end result. Some of the pieces, especially the bendable ones, are quite delicate, so it takes a LOT of mindfulness and effort not to break them, but the piece I broke was able to be fixed with a bit of careful gluing and patience. There are a few spare parts, but not of the most breakable ones, but that's understandable. Generally great, but just be sure you're extra, extra delicate, and cut out the pieces using a small blade if you're not 100% confident that it'll come out easily in one piece.

This is the second model I’ve been involved with and on both occasions parts have broken whilst manipulating them into difficult positions. Whilst some spare parts are supplied they were not for those in dander if breaking. Otherwise very good kits.
