This Really Does Attract All Insects
When you open this packet, be ready for a powerful nasty scent, but it truly does work. If that's what we smell like to bugs, it makes me want to shower even more often! It's very simple. You just pop into the bottom portion of your Dynatrap and that's it. You'll be shocked at how quickly it gets covered up in bugs. The only con is that you might want to wear gloves when cleaning it off as you will need to scrap the bugs off this as they do glom on it. My first round, I used my bare hands, and that smell took quite a few washings to get off. I can't tell exactly every bug it's pulling in because there's such a large amount of bugs on it, but it definitely pulls in moths and mosquitoes really well. I've had it 2 weeks so far, and our canopy tent has been bug free since using it. I've placed this about 15 feet away and having to clean it out every 3-4 days. Worth every cent.

The only mosquito bait for the south!
If you live in the south, Octenol will not work for the most common species. This bait is ridiculously overpriced, but it is the only product on the internet that will consistently work. Put a new Atrakta bait in your DynaTraps every 2 months, and your yard will stay mosquito-free.

DynaTrap insect trap
We have a 1/2 acre dynatrap on our front porch. Obviously it doesn't get rid of all flying insects but attracts quite a few. I have to empty out the bottom tray every couple weeks. So I can't say that it doesn't work, it isn't a 100% they're all gone but does attract them and keeps them trapped until they're deceased.

Mosquitoes Won This Time
The DynaTrap is easy to use and fits my mosquito defense machine easily but it didn’t do much for my mosquito troubles. I was so hoping that it would work but looks like mosquitoes=1 DynaTrap=0. Back to the drawing board

It works!
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I’m honestly the first one bit out of a group, mosquitos LOVE me. My dynotrap did no justice to the Asian tiger mosquitos that hunted in the daylight but good gracious what a difference over the last two weeks. We had a real infestation of them I would get bit all over my head 30 minutes after applying spray. This stuff started working immediately. I can now enjoy my backyard to relax and do landscapping without loading up on mosquito spray that I hate because of the smell and chemicals. A bit expensive but I don’t care I’ll replace every few weeks if I need to because I’m always outside, thanks to my toddlers. People are complaining of smell but it wasn’t bad at all, I rather have this stuff smell like garbage and work because it’s placed on the back of my yard and I never smell it. I have a pond near me and other homes close by so I was worried it wouldn’t help but when I went to my neighbors house 3 doors down I got bit immediately.

Pretty useless in the DynaTrap DT152, and you're not going to want to use it indoors anyhow.
I just bought a DynaTrap DT152 indoor trap and was disappointed to find out it the UV light doesn't attract mosquitos. In 3-4 days of use, I've caught just a few small fruit flies. So after a little research, I found out this product exists specifically for this reason. Two things to know about it: 1. It doesn't really fit the DT152. It's too big, though you can kind of stuff it in, but it'll easily fall over and cover up the sticky portion of the trap insert, pretty much defeating the central design of the trap. 2. It stinks horribly. You're not going to want to use this indoors. It'll make your whole house smell like bad breath. The caution sheet suggests it's really toxic too, so there's that to consider as well.

it is necessary to make your trap to work better.
It does a great job attracting the mosquitos, and moths, and other insects.
